Wait to appear on the VC or go out and buy a Super Nintendo?

I've been waiting since I got my Wii (Feb 2007) for these SNES titles to show up on the VC...

- U.N Squadron

- Final Fantasy III (6 JPN)

- Zombies Ate My Neighbors

- Chrono Trigger

I am starting to think that they might take a very long time to show up. (or never)

I've tryed emulators on my computer but it just isn't the same as on a console...

So I might just buy a Super Nintendo of eBay and get these games aswell...

With my luck i'll buy them and they will start being released on the VC after I do that.

In about 17 months since it's launch, Nintendo has only released 32 SNES games to the VC. That's only about 2 a month. And there are around 700 total SNES games. At this rate it would take almost 30 years for Nintendo to release every SNES game on the VC.

Seems to me you shouldn't hold your breath. Buy an SNES and the games you covet now, play them, and sell them right back if you want on eBay or what have you. After you do all that the games you want still may not even be on the VC. That's my advice.

If playing Chrono and FFIII is worth several hundred dollars to you, go get the SNES ;). Zombies should be able to be found for a fair price though. I dont see them coming out on VC for a while since they are 3rd party titles though.

FF3 will never be on the VC because it's on the DS, The other 3 will happen. Zombies Ate My Neighbors is a lock and I have no clue about whether UN Squadron will come soon, but I don't see why not. As for Chrono Trigger, I still think it'll happen, but not necessarily soon. It's better to wait, IMO, because finding FF3 and Chrono Trigger for the SNES might be a bit of money.JAB991

If I'm not mistaken, Final Fantasy 3 on the SNES was actually Final Fantasy 6 and the one on the DS is the real Final Fantasy 3. I know there was a reason for them switching the order of the American versions, but I forget what it was. With that said, I think there definately is a chance that FF3 (SNES version) will come to the VC.
