im actually surprised that the treytech managed to get the perk system working well on wii. i am getting it for the 360, however, im seriously concidering trying it out of my wii as well, just too see how the online works.

ive made statements before against wii only owners, but this is a sleeper hit to me. definitly a title that Wii owners should get their hands on.

Not at all

The game doesn't look as good as what's capable on the system, doesn't run as smoothly as what's capable on the system, and the worst offense of all, doesn't control as well as what's capable on the system.

If nothing else they should have nailed the control aspect.

i agree that almost every aspect of the game fall a bit short from Wii's maximum capabilities, but it does feature an online mode remanicent of what has been the most played console online game for probably over a year. that i think is enough to appreciate. plus if youve ever played a COD game (especially 4) u'll have to recognize the cinematic experience that they deliver as bozon stated. the game isnt terrible, as stated, its just not the best it could be.

...but then again, isnt that the story for most games on Wii :o

Of course its not as good as whats capable on the system but what 3rd party wii game is?

Especially a multiplat one?

For a game that has been extremely hyped for 360/PS3 and the Wii version being passed off immediately I think treyarch have done brilliantly and 8.0 is a great score.

Definitely a title that wii owners should get their hands on.

the game is pretty tight. it's not the pretties title out there, but it's still a lot better than 70% of the wii games. the controls and the responsivness can be a little bit better like mohh2, but it's not going to ruin your gaming experience. there are a few modes i wished the wii had like search and destroy and the big flat out co-op mode, but the experience of holding the wii mote and taking down enemies is a worthy purchase for me. i could have bought the 360 version since i owned that system for my fps cravings, but i remember how great mohh2 was so i had to get the wii version. 8.0 is a score i would have scored if i reviewed the game .

Got it. Get it. Good.

World at World is indeed a great game for Wii. The online is awesome, but graphics and lack of WiiSpeak online really kill it.

I actually own the game.

It might not be great, but it's considerably one of the best online experiences for the wii.

this might be a decent title for the wii, if u have missed all those other WWII games. Those videos could be from MoH: Pacific Assault. couldn't the rather port CoD4?

I'm going to rent this to test the controls, then I'll see if it's a buy or not.
The game would have been great if it had Wii Speak. Only if it had the graphics of SMG it could have been great [I know that's a big ask]

Of course - Most of u should have atleast a PC in ur home right?? Overall better experience for COD5 / although, if ur PC isnt any sort of decent gamer - then yeah, this should be a must have for ur Wii. It certainly knocks out Mario Galaxy and Wii sports.

Would hate trying to think i had to swing the darn controls around though - classic style controls would be the only way to go...

SMG's graphics aren't all that they're just very cleverly done. An FPS with lots going on in it is going to be a lot more demanding than what they did with SMG.

You have to hope that they'll take this COD4 modified Wii Engine, tweak and improve it, include Wii Speak and More online options and give us COD5 proper which comes out next year I believe.

I still think it seems to be a very good game overall.
