[QUOTE="Arkthemaniac"][QUOTE="FamiBox"] I kinda wish Ninendo just released the new controller for the Gamecube with a bunch of new games.

The Wii is twice as powerful as the Gamecube. Thw Wii is still the cheapest system. It has the second highest rated game ever. It's the only system to come with a game. It doesn't have a power adapter the size of the Sega Genesis. It doesn't destroy your games. It doesn't "Red Ring of Death". It doesn't have a limited game library. It has a unique controller. It is a perfect console for certain games and allows for certain things that weren't before possible as far as controls go.
Honestly, what in the hell more do you freakin want?
nice graphics, next-gen dvd capabalities, a more robust third-party output, and, oh yeah, a lower price.
the wii is great, but c'mon man, you sound like a used car salesman.
Well, you'll get better thrid party stuff and nice graphics when the developers actually try to make them nice, but if you want the HD or the HDDVD or Bluray, you'll have to get another one. Too bad for you, though, that they both cost at least 100$ more than the Wii.
I found my Wii in Iowa, 6 hours away, for 250$. I couldn't believe it was so cheap. If you want to complain about the Wii, look at the other systems. Not to say that they aren't good, but you're basically getting a steal on the Wii. Games are 10$ less (in the USA, at least) and the system is cheaper, too. If you want to be a baby and say it's too expensive, then don't get one. Your loss.
