Well Nintendo's R&D1 team made the Wario Land series. The last game they worked on was WarioWare: Touched, which is years old now. Master of Disguise was handled by NST (Nintendo Software Technology), who also did Metroid Prime Hunters. I think it's time that R&D1 come out with something new, maybe watch for something at E3.

I would love Nintendo to do Wario Land 5. WL4 was my first GBA game.

Wario land is a new franchise for me.
What is the games about? Mini-games like WWT or platformers?

I love Wario games so it's strange I've missed these games.

They're platformers, but Wario can change into different forms, like he'll be on fire or really fat or something. You have to use those alterations to progress through the levels.

I loved Wario Land 3 & 4! I have been waiting for a sequel to 4 for a long time! 3 was my first GBC game I ever played. It took me 2 years to beat and it was an excellent game! And here are a few things 5 wouldn't need... Touch screen capabilities, 3D graphics (WArio World)

WL 3 was the first handheld game I ever played in color. It also was the first game I played were you couldn't die, it blew my mind.

Wario Land 5 would be nice, but I should definitely try Master of Disguise first.

By the way, Wario Land II is my favorite game in the series, followed by Wario Land 4.

I've played Wario Land for the Virtual Boy. No that's not a typo, I owned and played a Virtual Boy and still own it. I then played and conquered Wario Land for the Gameboy. Both were awesome titles that I enjoyed quite a bit.

I never got into 2, 3, or 4 so I'm unaware of those, but from what I've read, they seem to be pretty groovy as well.

Master of Disguise seemed to be pretty disappointing from multiple sources.

I bought WarioWare for GBA and can say with little hesitation that it is one of the best titles for it. Without a doubt, it's like candy-coated crack with a thin layer of cake frosting on top.

I have the Wii WarioWare and I have a blast with it.

As for Wario Land 5, I'm not sure. I've missed out of the series, but I know they aren't particularly linear in the storyline. Here's hoping for a good sequel.

Oh and the one for GC, I heard that one was fun but not really deep as far as WarioWare games are concerned.

The review was a 6.1, which is "fair." It's not god awful like you say, it's not brilliant, but it's meh.
