Alone? Definitely not. I don't even think it's worth it for multiplayer to be honest. The game is beatable in a little bit over an hour for singleplayer. For you, it's worth a rent at best.
I bought it, very disappointed, and sold it on Ebay in less than a week. I at least made $45 of my $50 back though.
i bought it, me and my gf are fans of the warioware series
we actually bought a ds after i found twisted for 10$.. so yes.. i bought a ds for wario.. and it was a large incentive for buying a wii too
that being said, the game lacks a bit of the depth/extras as the portable titles
but considering it's the first original wario for console, i'd say that's a large reason why it scored AAA
don't buy it if you NEVER plan to play it with friends
i'm generally keeping it soley for the 12 person 1 remote mode
the multiplayer is actually decent, it's not deep, but what it lacks in depth it makes up for in it's appeal for non gamers (though honestly, my family doesn't like it since it's too crazy for them.. but this game does show of the potenital of the wiimote best)
if you know wario, you know what to expect though.. you'll be playing the same stages trying to unlock the remaining mini and micro games ...
rental if you don't have friends regularly coming over
but if you can manage to get 4-12 friends over one day, it's a real blast
you might want to put it in the context of the scope of things.. how far until future decent multiplayer games
