I'm pretty sure i can cover any decent answer possible with
1.) Warioware is a Wii game, Twilight Princess is a GC gameShakeNBake1491
2.) Warioware brings something new to the Wii, Twilight Princess reuses the same gameplay
Twilight princess brings plenty new.. and even if it didn't, games have scored very well with just perfecting on previous mechanics(link to the past anyone?). Twilight princess gives you the ability to control ranged combat by aiming your controller.. it also gives you more maneuverbility while using ranged combat. Not to mention sword mechanics are more interesting and immersive given the new controller; it has vastly improved on the spin attack and the shield bash is a ton of fun to use.
Also, you can fish using a motion sensing controller.
However, you are very right in that this is what gamespot does believe.. though noone is always right.
3.) Warioware is a completely different kind of game than Twilight Princess.
This, i completely agree with though.
As far as i am conserned, this guy is mostly right for explaining why GS gave it a lesser score. They are different genres and as far as GS is concerned, TP is too much like previous zelda's and the music is not up to par with next gen capabilities.
Though, i completely disagree. Twilight princess on the wii is a masterpiece and every bit deserving of it's high score on gamerankings. In fact, i would rate TP a little higher at least.
Now i do not have a Wii, i have a playstation 3, but i was thinking about how GS gives low scores to some games and i was wondering what some of you Wii guys think about these scores. I mean how in the hell...did Warioware get a better score then Twilight Princess, i mean how does that work?? So i am just asking some questions to the people who own a Wii for my own interest, thank youWario and Zelda are two different games, There hasn't been a week that has pass without the whole Wario vs. Zelda crap, Zelda is a good game buts its doesn't bring anything new or groundbreaking to the table, The problems with most of you is that you guys/girls are flatout Zelda fanboys that are willing to score any Zelda game a 9.5 + without even playing the game or realizing that the game hasn't involve that much from the past, The whole Wario Ware vs. Zelda debate is annoying and really holds no merrit at all because they are from different type of games, A game should be rated for what it is, I hope people don't start crying if Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3 or Smash Brothers Brawl scores higher then Zelda?? A game should be rated for what it is plain and simple, For a similation game Wario Ware is a 9.1 according to GS, For a adventure game Zelda is a 8.8 plain and simple.. demoman314

I wonder if you realise that Zelda TP is the 13th(i believe) highest rated game of all time on gamerankings?
TP has brought alot of new elements to a zelda game.. and it was one of the first action adventure games to utilize the wii's controls; and quite nicely too. Fishing anyone?
Alot of people that disagree with TP's rating on GS are not zelda fanboys. TP really is a great game.

Yes, but just becuase its not original doesnt mean its a bad game, I think the haters are more blind logic wise, they make it sound like if a game is not original, it sucks. Seriously, originality is great and all, but you guys make it seem like original>gameplay nowadays.. wizdom
I dont know why they gave WWSS a 9.1 and TP an 8.8, i own both and believe that WWSS deserves an 8 and TP a 9.5. But its probably because TP plays like all the other Zeldas...soulfood4Yeah and theres not really much else you can do to change the gameplay of the zelda. Purhaps they could've made the sword fighting more realistic or made the movement controls based on tilting the controler (left right forward backward). At least they didn't ruin anything. I mean its true they could've taken more risks but they kept with the tried and true zelda. Its a solid title. Its long like most zelda games should be. But for some reason it leaves something to be desired. I don't know what it is maybe its just me. Matbe its because the ending sequence wasn't nearly as epic as I wanted it to be.
