I know Nintendo has a lot on their plate already, but one of the things I hope to see in the future is an update to the mii channel to allow a lot more customization. I think the mii concept has a lot of potential, but is currently underutilized. And now that Nintendo has even created a whole other channel around miis "look at mii channel" I would think they'd get to giving more options to create miis. I'd like to have more clothing/shoe options, more accesories, etc. Anyone else think so?babern38
I think It's a great idea, but I highly doubt Nintendo will do anything.
No, the Check Mii Out channel has shown us that we don't need any kind of update.

That's true in some cases, like how you can make Storm Troopers and Robocop, but what about for real people. They could at least do with more styles of pieces for faces, the eyes and noses in particular are stupid, only like 3 of the noses are worth it, same with the eyes, some of them are plain stupid, who has a nose that's two dots...
And clothes, just a plain colour is kind of boring, maybe just a simple level, like more colours, and choice of t-shirt, jumper, jacket, and different leg styles maybe, nothing overly complex just a bit more variety.

That's going against what Nintendo wants with the Mii's though.
They intended for them to be a way to make a simple representational avatar for user and others.
Nintendo didn't want anything complicated

What he explained doesn`t make it complicated, it just adds a tiny more variety to how you can customize your Mii. But on an un-related note I am alright with the Miis right now but when I saw my Mii Outfit A in Mario Kart I wanted added to the Mii channel. Just saying.[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"][QUOTE="bobbetybob"][QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]No, the Check Mii Out channel has shown us that we don't need any kind of update.

Then you also have to figure that all games that support Mii's before the update wouldn't be able to support Mii's after the update.

But Nintendo wanted a streamlined way to make an avatar quickly
They didn't want people to spend time deciding how to play dress up with their dolls.

Om, yay a perfect oppertunity like this only passes once :D! Ok well first of all the mii channel isn't about skill. Its about customization. No person should need "skill" to create a good looking mii. I agree with the topic poster that the mii channel needs an update. We need more then just 7 hair pieces and like 4 different eyes. No, the Check Mii Out channel has shown us that we don't need any kind of update.

What are you talking about?
Of course Mii's take skill, that why Nintendo started a whole channel to encourage users to get better at it.
Now you don't NEED skill, that's why the system now is so perfect. A novice user can quickly make a quick Mii version of himself/herself with very little work. It doesn't take long to pick a head shape,, eyes, nose, mouth, and hair.
Now users who spend more time with the Mii's can get better at making them and start making things you'd never think were possible.
Also remember that if you upgrade the Mii's whatever games supported them wont be able to support them anymore.
Yes we do need an update, regardless of any skill there is no way for Mii's to have orange hair! :( Laigh if you must but its discrimination on nintendos part :PNo, the Check Mii Out channel has shown us that we don't need any kind of update.
