week hospital stay, no wii's in michigan.

last week, i was in the hospital for surgery, and i over heard my mom tell my dad to go buy a wii for me, and all week he looked, and couldnt find a single one. how sucky is that!

I highly recommend you to just call the places every couple days, and just say, "got wii?", if they said no, then just hang up. They're all used to all the calls.  iTrackr is not bad, but there was few times when it says that these stores have them in stock...but they didn't have them...so I think in some areas it's reliable, and some areas it's not.

   Besides, to be perfectly honest, there's not that many great games out anyways, and I would think that if you wait a little, the prices will drop to a reasonable price, then you can buy the wii, and have much better collection. The only ones that I can think off that rocks on the Wii is, Wii Sports, Zelda, and SSX Blur (despite some complaints that people are saying. The good games that will be "great" are coming out...some won't come out for months (Why do they announce the release date like 10 months in advance?! I can't wait that long for Beautiful Katamari!!).  

     Lastly, if you really read the Wii boards, you'll see that quite a few people are bored with their Wiis already. I can see why...it IS gimmicky, but hopefully with better games coming out (RE4, Super Paper Mario, Beautiful Katamari, etc etc), they'll dust off their Wiis and play again.

yeah thats pretty much what i have been doing.

the thing is i've played the wii a whooole lot, so i know what i'd be getting

and we have a good amount of money, my family and i are definately not poor; no way am i saying this to brag but to say that the price is laughable for how good it is. one of the reasons i want a wii is to get light, non evasive exercise, which i need to do to recover quicker.

 also i'm on vicodin...you get the point =]

those aren't hospital presents, the guitar was a christmas present which was pretty expensive, and the amp was a birthday present that i've had for about 27 days.

 also wii internet is actually better than my computers, and thats sad. my good computer just broke down completely not that long ago...

 I had checked the site around noon and it showed 3 Targets in my area with them in stock. I called the closest one and they told me they were sold out. Later that day my wife wanted to go to a store that was right next to that Target. I checked the site again and it showed that Target location as still having them in stock while the other locations had sold out. So I drove over there, walked in and saw 2 Wiis setting in the case.

Never trust an employee over the phone. I've seen other people post stories like mine.

In my little neck of Michigan, I couldn't find a retail-priced Wii even if my life depended on it. Of course, if I wanted a PS3 I'd have at least 11 to choose from, and that's just at the Best Buy.

That itrack is pretty cool but I got a 0 out of 30 in my town of Portland,OR so if anyone knows of one for sale here please let me know.

I've had a couple surgerys and threw up both times..mm..good times.

the games are too statistical, every one of the games seem as if there should be a debugging window on them.

I hope the surgery wasn't serious and I'm assuming that it wasn't because you are posting here.....I had a serious case of the chicken pox when I was little. I got RC Pro Am racing for NES. That is the one where you have to grab the n-i-n-t-e-n-d-o letters, right? pgb33

it was a pretty rare disorder, where a congenital formation in my body collapsed and filled my insides with blood, very serious but i caught it quick.

i had that game on gameboy, one of my favorite racing games.
