Well .. im on my 3rd Wii ...

Well - After my first wii got over heated from Wii connect 24 (i know people are going to say Wii's dont over heat, but MINE DID)

and my second ones disc drive is messed up (making a loud noise like THIS one Here)

Im going to be on my THIRD! :(

hopefully third times a charm.. i hope i have a good working wii. It seems like My wii's are acting like 360's more than Wii's..

Anyone else have problems with their Wii's not working? how many have you gone through?

I turn off WiiConnect24 so that that doesn't happen to me. You should do the same, so the first thing doesn't happen again. The second was just a fluke.Tking1293

Not a cheap shot at all. It's a well known fact that 360s break down quite often.

Anyway on topic. This really sucks. I think my Wii has a problem too, with the internet. Sometimes it connects and sometimes it doesn't.

Btw when they change or switch your Wiis, did they keep your games saves and VC games? Would suck even more if you lose thoses.

Well i dont have any VC games, but i believe the re-emberse you Wii Points. For game saves, they cant do anything - but i have a SD Card, so im fine.

Off-topic: I have that same stereo in your picture, but it's black.

Had mine since Christmas and it works perfectly. Dunno how people could be having problems with them, mine gets moved around a lot since it gets taken to friends houses and whatnot, still works. In the last 17 years of owning Nintendo consoles, not once have I had one defect on any of them. My original DS Phat burned out on me though, its the first time something has just totally stopped working (although I think my hacking of it might have caused it).DSgamer64

This is the only Nintendo console i've had a problem with.

my NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube, GB Original, GBA SP, and DS lite all work fine.

had mine since launch day. Never had a problem.

I remember my friends stereo broke 2 days after the warranty, now THATS a big problem

I haven't had one single problem with a Wii, nor has anyone I know. They're very well put together, and the % of defective ones is thankfully very, very low. I feel lucky that my 360 works, but I don't worry about it with my Wii... I KNOW it will work, and if it doesn't, the big N will come to the rescue... If true, that sucks for you, but you're the in the tiniest of minorites.... at least you're dealing with Nintendo.Staryoshi87

I really dont think that your wii's were really defective. They probably still worked just with minor problems, all systems sometimes make noise and i dont think your wii can overheat it was just probably really hot dude and you thought there was somrthing wrong.

Dont waste your time trying to replace your wii when ur wii is probably fine.

im not against the "wii don't overheat" because i felt mine today, after it was on WIIC24, and.. darn was it ever hot.... it was... just... im not leaving wii connect 24 on.. and sorry bout your drive problems.

Had it since release, and my first one is holding up nicely.... sorry 'bout your luck though.
