Animal Crossing should be rated M. Â I mean, you have to work to pay off your mortgage in the game. Â You can't get more mature than that. Â
Nintendo didn't develop these but they are published them and they own the IP or bought the IP from another publisher.
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem (Developed by Silicon Knights but Nintendo has full control over the IP)
Geist (Developed by n-Space and Nintendo)
Zangeki no Reginleiv (Developed by Sandlot it is currently Japan Only)
Fatal Frame IV and Fatal Frame II Crimson Butterfly remake (Nintendo know owns majority stake in the Fatal Frame IP they purchased it from Temco-Koei; Fatal Frame IV is Japan Only and Fatal Frame II Wii Edition was released in Japan and Europe)
Nintendo also has the rights to publish Bayonetta 2.
Does it make the game better if it's rated M?MonsieurXDefinetly, Wind Waker was awful due to it's kiddie graphics.
[QUOTE="MonsieurX"]Does it make the game better if it's rated M?slim_chanceDefinetly, Wind Waker was awful due to it's kiddie graphics. You're soooo wrong. Not even the "kiddie" graphics makes a game E or E10. Is the content itself. Madworld has no realistic graphics at all but it's the actual violence which grants the M rating. WW, is one of the best Zelda games and none of those games has ever been more than T (TP), nor is the series intended to go beyond that classification. Your mention the graphic aspect shows how ignorant on game classification you are, or I should believe you're just joking.

So if you enjoyed it, more power to you. Wind Waker is the last Zelda I beat and I just hated the art style which slightly ruined the game for me but I have hopes that the WiiU zelda will change up the formula and make something special again. I loved Ni Nu Kuni and Dragon Quest, which used cell shading too, the art style to me was many times better.
Then that makes you a child and a causal since you have said previously that you only bought a Wii U for the Nintendo games.,....Nintendo is a company that's built on making games for children and casuals.
Pretty sure that makes M rated games pretty scarce.
Jaysonguy
None.
They don't make M-rated or adult-oriented games and I don't see that changing.
But it's not like they have to.

How can you like Ni No Kuni's art-style but hate Wind Waker's?
Sounds a little strange to me...
Nintendo doesnt want to go back to their old reputation when they were in the business of Love Hotels. Making games Rated M restricts who can buy it. Thats why Nintendo has money and Sony doesnt as for Greedysoft they never needed to enter the gaming industry at all.

I wouldn't exactly say that Nintendo has money right now, for the last 3 years they've been hemorrhaging money.

Ratings doesn't matter when games like Fire Emblem Awakening is far more mature than most M rated titles.hiphops_savior
Throw in radiant Historia and Majora's Mask and I'd second that statement.

They havent been losing money, they just hadnt been making any noticeable amounts. As we all know Nintendo could not make a penny ever again and lose $257 million every year, they last till 2052, then selling stocks, technology, and buildings they last till 2075. The Wii U could utterly fail and not make a penny. Would be a big ass scratch to Nintendo but wouldnt actually hurt them.

They have been losing money.
Starting about 2 years into the end of the Wii's life they had to do a drastic cutback across the board. They had to cut back plans for studios, they had to lay people off plus cut back on bonuses and benefits, and had to cancel plans for new campuses.
Last year they lost half a billion dollars before the Wii U was launched and then failed worldwide.
Saying that Nintendo is stable isn't true to the facts at all. Hell, Nintendo almost went bankrupt from the Gamecube and only the sales of the DS saved it.

I wouldn't really call Majora "mature" as it still has a "childish spirit" and is generally a game anyone can enjoy.
But it has a "dark twist" to it and that is what is charming about it.

Despite the "kiddy" part of it, there's some dark sh!t in the game... I mean, you can kill an NPC for christ's sake. (Sakon) Plus there are a lot of really dark themes when you think about it... The zora eggs being stolen? Grief over a lost child. The entirety of the Anju and Kafei sub plot? I mean, they are going to die in each other's arms! While, yes, on the surface it's still kind of "childish" you can look deeper and discover that it's extremely dark and sometimes depressing... Best example probably being the grave of the Deku Butler's son.
