what are the chances of GTA games being ported to the wii?

Freestyle crime games are awesome on the wii (Godfather, Bully) since I've never played the original GTA games I think it'd be really cool to be able to play on the Wii.

I'd say 0% since porting down is a lot harder than porting up.

GTA III and the spin-offs wouldn't need to be ported down only GTA IV and as you said the chances of that would be zero imo. I'm hoping for a San Andreas port(I've never played it properly) or a San Andreas "Stories" game.

if the wii is still selling, i think that there is a good possibility, especially if some of the more mature titles sell well on the wii.:)

Who knows? They gave us Bully and Table Tennis, so the series could possibly come to the Wii. Rockstar released the GTA 1 on the GBA.

I do agree with them though: the GTA games don't really seem to fit the Wii's style. I'd say if someone wanted to make a sandbox crime type game, it'd have to be like No More Heroes; the game would have to be the video game equivalent of a B movie (not that that's a bad thing...NMH is awesome!). So basically, it would be GTA mixed with Evil Dead; a San Andreas starring Bruce Campbell. Not a bad idea, actually.

yeh....it would be cool...but i highly doubt that any GTA Game will be on Wii...

for some reason Rockstar doesnt like GTA on Wii

they made Manhunt 2 and Bully there....

That could become reality with EA buying out Take 2. EA would then force Rockstar to put ports of GTA games out on the Wii to make $$$$$. I'm sure they would play fine. Just don't think they would look very pretty.

Yup, if they believe they can make money doing it, then they'll do it. I imagine they'd like to see some more evidence that this type of game has a market on the Wii though.
