I just got a 3DSxl and I'm having so much fun! I have about 6 games for my DS lite and 2 for the 3DS. I'm wondering what everyone's favorite games are so I can get some ideas of what to try. I bought Harvest Moon a Tale of Two Cities and Kingdom Hearts Dream Drop Distance, but I've only tried Harvest Moon so far.
Well you fumbled there. A New Beginning is a much better Harvest Moon game. My other favorites are... Ocarina of Time 3D, Fire Emblem: Awakening, Kid Icarus: Uprising, and to a lesser degree Super Mario 3D Land.
Fire Emblem Awakening, Lords of Shadow: Mirror of Fate, Samurai Warriors Chronicles, Heroes of Ruin and Ace Combat: Assault Horizon Legacy. The best in show for Strategy, Action, Looting and Flight. Runner ups include Amazing Spiderman and Captain America: Super Soldier.
I'm going to download the Castlevania demo, and it's good to hear that some of you like it. I chose Tale of Two Cities over A New Beginning because it was $20 less and I was on a bit of a budget because I was also buying my 3DSxl. I'm a few days into it and it's pretty cute. My favorite Harvest Moon game for DS is Harvest Moon DS Cute, but that's not 3D.
I loved devil survivor overclocked, although that game might be a little hard to find now. Also if you like RPG dungeon crawlers Etrian Odyssey 4 is amazing! so fricken awesome. I've also put a lot of hours into KH: Dream Drop Distance as i am currently trying to get all the rarer dream eaters or whatever. Mario Kart 7 is great on-the-go fun with welcomed customization which enables you to create a kart that is taylored to your playstyle.
Man there are just so many games. My favorite is Fire Emblem right now, that game is near perfection. I would have to say Legend of Zelda OOT 3D, Super Mario 3D Land, Kingdom Hearts, Paper Mario Sticker Star, Mario Kart 7, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Zero's Escape: Virtue's Last Reward, New Super Mario Bros. 2 and Resident Evil Revelations.
Fire Emblem Awakening for right now. I'd say my other favorites are Virtue's Last Reward, Pushmo, Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars and Resident Evil: Revelations. I have had good luck w/ the 3DS games I've chosen to buy and almost all of them have been really good, makes it hard to narrow it down to a list of a few favorites.
