What controller do you use for Monster Hunter Tri ?

I got the Controller Pro Bundle thingy, with my copy of MH3, ( it's that black controller ), but I don't know if it is actually better to use or not, I've played for about 6 hours with it and I'm comfortable using it, but do pros use the wii - remote or is the black controller fine ?

i use the origional classic controller. its comfortable. whats different about the pro? just reshaped shoulder buttons, or more?

whatever suits you better, don't go with "what the pros use", because those "pros" are 12 year olds with a napoleon complex.

i use the wiimote+nunchuk, i chose the greatsword because i liked it.

I use the Pro. I purchased it just for this game but i'm very satisfied with it and think it was worth the 20 bucks to play the game comfortably. I did use the standard Wiimote+ Nunchuk for the first day and that was fine too, but the CCpro is def the best way to play.

I tried the Wiimote+Nunchuck combo, seemed to work fine.

I use the CCPro though since its more comfortable and because I bought it with the game, might as well use it. :P

I think it is, even though it doesn't use IR functionality (which would've been even better). Maybe you should try the bow gunner with the nunchuk and wii remote, for some weird reason it feels better to me. However, it's CC Pro for the other weapon types.

I use the Wiimote and Nunchuck, because that is all I have to play the game with. :P

Classic Controller Pro. I tried the Remote/Nunchuck combo while playing Arena mode with my sister, and frankly I hate it, and she hates it too.

Pro 8) . lol really there's no difference between Original C. Controller but I use Pro.
