Believe it or not I enjoyed my Gamecube right when I got it more than my Wii right when I got it. It must have been Tony Hawk 3 I was blown away by that game. Remember this isn't which is BETTER it is which one you enjoyed more when you got it.

It's WAY to early to tell. I mean, so far (in comparison), the Gamecube had a whole lot more A+ games then the Wii does. But that's because the Wii has only been out for right under a year.

i bought my gamecube like an year after it released so i got alot of games that were low prices like mario kart and melee that i enjoyed alot we have to wait for the Wii to get more games to beat my enjoyment with the gamecube
I'd have to say I enjoyed my Wii most when I first got it. The Gamecube was great, but it was basically an N64 upgrade. The graphics were better, but the games weren't much different. Since the Wii changes the gaming experience so much, I absolutely loved it when I first got it. And I still do. :)

Yeah, I don't see any problem with this thread. We lock console comparisons to prevent fanboy flaming; since this is among Nintendo fans, I don't anticipate any flaming sessions. And since the Gamecube is technically a part of the Wii, it's included in the "Wii" umbrella.
i like my gamecube better than the wii.... maybe in the future (like when i get the Guitar Hero 3 ^_^) i'll like the wii better but right now the gc is the best.
It's hard to say this early in the life of the Wii. I bought my Gamecube a year before the end of it's life, so I had dozens of good games to choose from by that time. The Wii so far has been fun, but I have basically just waiting for Galaxy and Brawl, and all the other good games coming out in the near future. So, right now I'd say I enjoyed the Gamecube more, but that might change come November-December.
At launch, obviously the Wii. I couldn't stop playing Wii Sports and Zelda, I stayed up until 5 in the morning T_T. lol, though once in a while I'll fire up the GC, and play the good ol' Tales of Symphonia, in anticipation for Tales of Symphonia 2 :P ^_^.
My Wii because when I got my GameCube, it was a few months after my brother got his, so I was just like "Meh" and played for a bit. But with the Wii I threw my arm out making it more fun. xD

the gamecube and wii threads should be together ( not that 1-2 extra threads a week will change much)
I enjoyed my Wii more than my Cube when I first got it... my first games for the Wii - Wii Sports, Zelda, and WarioWare - topple my first games for the Cube - SSBM, Luigi's Mansion, and Mario Party 4. of course, then I wasn't nearly as good at SSBM as I am now
