If you have broadband you need to buy the Nintendo USB Adaptor. I think it's about $30 USD right now. Or you could buy a compatible wireless router.

All I needed to do to get online, was get a wireless router, and that sends signals from the PC to the wii.

A router is the only thing you need.

Get a wireless router and get everything you own online either wired or wirelessly (Wii, DS, XBOX, 360, PS2, PS2, PC, Laptops)

There's no better way to get your console online.

Wireless router

YOu're able to connect with wires and wirelessly with a wireless router.

Plus Nintendo will walk you through everything you need to do, they have their own toll free customer support line just for getting people online. Don't matter if you're a novice, it'll be a snap.

Yes I read what you put and it's better to UPGRADE your router you have now so you can get everything online then it is to purchase something else that doesn't work as well and doesn't do as much.

A Wireless router is the best way to go.

the Nintendo USB Connecter is Unstable and needs to be Reintalled often (At least mine did).

I also have a wired router and I use the USB Connector, as stated in my original post. You can buy it for $30.

Get the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB connector and it comes with a disk and you install it to your computer and put the USB connector in and it sends signals to the Wii and you can get online.

Yes, the only problem there is what happens if you get something besides a Wii or a DS you want to get online wirelessly? Then you're stuck having to buy something else. I'm just trying to point out the easist way to change over. People can take my advice or not but it just seems silly to spend money twice and still not get all the options needed for everything.

I understand that. I'm just saying how I do it. We use ethernet cables on anything else that needs connecting. He stated he doesn't want to buy a wireless router and I gave an alternative.
