Keep It. I learned my lesson when I sold my N64. Regretted every time I think about it.

If it's a great game that I may possibly play again sometime, I keep it. Otherwise, it's gotta go.

I keep mine. I've only traded games in once. I sometimes regret it, especially since I started longing to play those games after I had already given them away. Plus, Gamestop gave me only $11 dollars for 3 nearly new games. Never doing that again...

Each of my games are also tied to the person who gave me them so I never get rid of anything

Plus if you do it you have less and who wants less?

You want more. Like who says "oh no I don't want a piece of cake that big, can you cut that in half?"

Know who says that?

I usually keep them, but I'm finding I have a lot of games I know I wont go back to. Might as well get a little cash off them, but I know I wont get around to selling them for a while.

I keep most of them. Sometimes I sell a game, when I think I really won't play it anymore and when I think I can get a nice amount of money for it.

I'm a video game collector, so I always hang on to them. Unless it's something that doesn't quite strike my fancy, which is rare that I ever get a game that does.

With the exception of games that I loved and have eplay value, I will sell as much as I can.

There are exceptions though, if I like a game and can't get much for it I will not sell it. Big games like Twilight Princess hold their value. So I played it for 8 mos or so from launch, really got tired of it and sold it for like $38 on Ebay. So I was able to roll that money into Metroid Prime 3, which I just sold for $30. But I am definitely pro selling games when I play them out.

Thnx :D. Yep, you were right so far. (From left to right) Theres the Marumasa dude, girl from arc rise fantasia, Ash from Phantom Brave Wii, main class from Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of time, random guy in armor from monster hunter tri, girl from fragile, dude from Shining Force Feather, classes from 7th dragon, Kairu from black sigil, shiren from shiren the wanderer, and the protagonist from covenant of the plume ;)

On Topic: I dont see the need to keep games you think are bad, so if anyone has reletively crappy games you could ATLEAST sell those.

When I was younger I used to think I could make all my money back by selling games and I sold a lot of 64 games that I now want. I don't anymore though.

trading them in for peanuts is dumb. also unless you are wealthy and have a fetish for having a huge collection of games, then I would sell them.

Only a few games are ever worth hanging onto. usually i find they're multiplayer games and simple yet addicting games

Yes and no. I NEVER sell Nintendo games. I've learned from experience that 20 years down the line, Mario, Zelda, and Metroid will be just as awesome as ever. I also hold on to stylish games that you can tell had love put into them (Suda games, Clover games, Gungrave), and games that are just flat out awesome like Zone of the Enders 2, DMC (1&3), God Hand, The Darkness, Valve games, Metal Gear's, and God of War's. I keep the Naughty Dog and Insomniac games as well.

I've only traded in impulse buys and games that get upgrades later. Crap like Gears of War, Rumble Roses XX (Hey, it was $3 new, I couldn't pass that up), Red Steel, Tekken Dark Resurrection, and a few others I regretted buying went straight towards reserving MGS4. I got a bonus trade in so I only spent $7 on the Special Edition of it.

Dark Cloud 2 and Meteos are the only 2 games I've sold in that I've regretted. I re-bought Meteos since.

I send them to my family in cuba, since they don't have any of that over there. They're probably the only ones playing with a gamecube and N64 right now. I miss my old N64. : \

I keep them all. Well, the only games I've ever sold are Metroid Prime: Hunters (complete trash of a game), Naruto: Clash of Ninja 1 GC (The sequel's the same, except better) and Battalion Wars 1 (shouldn't have done it, but I have Battalion Wars 2). I sold them all at the same time because I wanted to sort of "clean out" my collection.
