Like, a spinoff. Or maybe ports/ remakes of number 2 and 3. They were made on PS2, so there should be no problem with hardware and I've never played those ones. What do you think?

I wouldn't mind a Peace Walker port from the PSP, for the simple fact I don't want to have to buy a PSP to play that game.
We didn't get MGS: Essentials that would've easily worked
i don't think there'd be much chance of it
but i do want a port of Peace Walker to the Wii. I love me some MGO. And i don't want to buy a PSP again for one MGS game
kojima's not a big fan of nintendo, and he's a perfectionist. that's basically why he kept MGS4 a PS3 exclusive.BrunoBRSIf he was a perfectionist MGS4 would of been a PC title and the story would of been better IMO. Also I don't MGs4 would of worked well on the wii or 360 especially considering MGS4 takes up 32 gigs of a dual layer Blu-ray disc (mostly uncompressed sounds)
no. everyone would be all complaining about "OHHH ITS A PORT OFA GAME WE SHOULD HAVE HAD ALREADY"
or
"OMG OMG OMG THE PRE-BETA SCREENS ARE SO FUGLY! THE PRE-BETA IS SO MUCH UGLIER COMPARED TO THE FINAL RESULT OF WAW."
EDIT: oh lol i didnt mean to put world at war up there. its just that those were the dump complaints i kept getting about the MW port, and i was trying to be a sarcastic little turd.

[QUOTE="Jaysonguy"]:o He said that? Meanie.I think it's impossible because the creator of the series said he will never put any part of the Metal Gear series on the Wii
fabz_95
i thought he was a huge fan of Smash, and put TS on GCN (by silicon)
i wouldn't rule it out, Konami can do what they want with the series (as with Rising) but i don't see it
I wouldn't like it, MGS would have to take a massive step back on the Wii with graphics and open area's and I just dont think the controls could compensate for that :(. If we get anything from Kojima I would rather it was a new IP built from the ground up for the Wii.

well, the story everyone heard about snake on smash bros is that kojima asked to add him in melee, but it was already too late and so snake was pushed back to brawl. that doesnt make it any more possible to see a metal gear game on the wii. the last kojima game on a nintendo console was boktai, and i'm not even sure if he worked on all episodes. If MGS does somehow come to Wii, no way should it be a port. That would be pitiful. Give us a full-fledged sequel, on the other hand, and I'll be happy.
I highly doubt it'll happen, though, so I'm not even gonna' entertain the notion of MGS comin' to Wii. Don't want to get my hopes crushed.:P

PC has the best controls don't you know? Only the racing genre is kinda awkward with the keyboard. Also, the PC platform is the strongest bar none in terms of hardware. PS3 doesn't even come close. Just look at ATI 5870 and Core i7. PC doesn't need to read discs to play a game so it doesn't need Blu Ray. I think MGS4 would fit on DVDs (compressed) and then be extracted to the HD of the PC. No need for putting discs anymore. I think that's why X360 can't handle it.[QUOTE="BrunoBRS"]kojima's not a big fan of nintendo, and he's a perfectionist. that's basically why he kept MGS4 a PS3 exclusive.BrunoBRS

Metal Gear Solid Twin Snakes : Gamecube
Solid Snake : Smash Bros Brawl.
Never say never.
On topic:
I think if it was a ground up version for the Wii, I think it could work really well control wise. The Wii has the same controls as every other console just slightly mapped different.
I would love to actually choke out someone with Motion+.

kojima's not a big fan of nintendo.BrunoBRSHe is the one who begged for snake to be in melee, so he must like Nintendo to an extent. Who knows why he doesnt want an MGS on the Wii? Probably because he prefers HD over waggle

He would never put a metal Gear Solid game on the Wii?
That said from the guy who begged Nintendo to put Sanke in Melee?
Come on Kojima! You sound just like the other million Wii haters out there! You're better than that! You're smart! If you could make a masterpiece like MGS4 I bet you could make a Metal gear game on the Wii that's not a port.
buy the one on the gamecube and play it on the wii if it makes you feel better lol
the only thing i want from kojima is zone of the enders.
the cows can keep metal gear

Me too. A PS2 port would also be acceptable too, but I'd rather it be on Wii. I really want that game but I don't want a PSP. Also I would be cool with either a port of 2 and 3 (enchanced ports would be much nicer though), or a brand new game. Actually I'd love to have both. A ground up game would be great and having those 2 games running in 480P widescreen with IR shooting would very much improve them.
