What do you think is going to be GOTY for the Wii

and also what do you think has the potential to be GOTY that hasn't come out yet? i'm very curious to see what most of us wii owner think on the games that are out right now and also for the games that are coming out very soon this year.

Other than those 3, it would have to be something that has yet to come out. Although, I've heard more legimate praise for Boom Blox than post-release love for Brawl, so we'll see. The only game from this calendar year that's interested me enough to buy it has been Okami (which is engrossing, btw), but a port would never win GOTY.

no doubt...i actually picked up Okami this weekend and so far enjoying it. And ya, ports dont win GOTY awards. But seriously, what other big titles for Wii are planned for this year?...i can't think of any to be honest.

You guys seem to forget Nintendo said they are gonna be revealing something huge at E3 and said that it would be released by this holiday season.I most likely believe its gonna be the new zelda cause its been in development for almost 3 years now and zelda always has game of the year potential but im just saying if it is zelda that's gonna be revealedX_XSlashX_X

ya, i haven't heard about this either...and if it is a new Zelda, AWESOME! I wasn't the biggest fan of TP, so a new Zelda would be wicked

Maybe if Spore comes out this year for the Wii and fulfills its potential, but it's unlikely to hit this year. I think a late year, big release is the only thing that will topple SSBB, unfortunately. A lot of Wii releases haven't been getting tons of advance press, so the alternate GOTY (if it exists) will probably get leaked during the summer for a fall/winter release. Either way, there are a ton of games already out and soon to be released that I want, so I'm happy either way.

I'm not sure... that's a tough one!
The only thing I know is that the GOTY will be coming from Ubisuck

fatal frame....ugh...the most overrated survival horror series...if thats what you wanna call it.

Wii would much rather have SH5 or RE5
