I would like to see more games online for the Wii, but once Brawl, Mario Kart, and Rock Band are all out, I will be set for online gaming on my Wii.Mike1978Smith
ya from what i hear mk is gonna be amazing online for the wii, ssbb on the other hand looks really watered down and just plan bad as far as its online features and gameplay go...
ive played rockband online for 360 and its really not an online game at all! its a game you play with freinds in the same room! but the option for online play is still needed! hopefully we will have dlc for that game and a HDD, if not its gonna suck big time!!

same here
Online is definitely fun, but not required. I don't play online too much, mostly because I can't find opponents at my skill level.
It would be cool if more developers were less reluctant to put games online for Wii. After seeing how many online games are available for the DS, it's kind of a shame that other developers don't take advantage of the online capabilities of the Wii. Oh well. Brawl, Mario Kart, Guitar Hero III, and Rock Band look to be big players in the Wii's online library.
[QUOTE="kenakuma"][QUOTE="lolag"]What do you expect its Nintendo first console that is actually set for online. There should be a flood of online games in the near future.raahsnavj
maybe, if 3rd parties get their act together!
What does 3rd parties have to do with anything?3rd parties develope the majority of the games for a console  soooooo...... if their were to be a flood of online games they would mostly be 3rd party as we see on other consoles. the reason the wii dosent have that many online games now is because most 3rd party support were getting is shovelware.
so 3rd parties pretty much have EVERYTHING to do with getting "floods" of online games!

If having more games means a better chance of getting 'online' games then I guess i will agree with you. But for the most part 3rd parties have proved they have no real talent for Wii development... just like you pointed out. Don't get me wrong there are some 3rd party games that have been great and amazing but not one has had a good online mode to brag about...if you believe all 3rd party games are shovel ware then you got problems because i have over 30 wii games excluding online bought ones, and half or more then half are 3rd party games with less then half of that being party games
ever play games like medal of honor re4 driver pl manhunt 2 farcry redsteel etc ... i guess not oh and if your into crime solving csi is the best thing to come out compared to xfiles on ps1 , i find that game to dull ,, but this ones actually fun there should be more like it pretty inovative if you ask me

if you believe i said ALL 3rd party than YOU must have problems because i definetly said MOST!!!!
and yes ive played re4 .......back on the gamecube, moh2 was a meh shooter at best, manhunt was not very fun at all (but thats just an opinion) and red steel was just utter trash in almost all areas!
About online and Wi-Fi games, it's always been my thoughts that if Brawl and MKWii, two highly anticipated Wii games featuring online play, make a great display of what online Nintendo games can do, we will eventually get a lot more games with the feature. It always takes the excellence of one game to set an example for everyone else to follow. In a related note, I was hoping that the excellent controls and 32 player online sessions of MOHH2 would show developers that FPS games would be great on the console, but the game doesn't seem to be making that much of an impact.Swifty_Magee
i think mk will really show off the wii's online more than anything! brawl's online is no where near as feature heavy and didnt really seem special at all to me, just really basic, hence basic brawl!
but hopefully mk will get developers to feature better online in their games!
