After playing Mario kart with the wheel and getting very frustrated at the 100cc level, I switched to the GC controller and found the game to be much easier. You have so much better control. I initially was very pleased with the Wheel but I think my opinion just changed
For everyone using the wii wheel, try using the gamecube controller if you find yourself getting frustrated. The game becomes a lot easier on the higher classes
I love the Wii Wheel, now you may say I am not a "true" Mario Karter but I have won 16/20 games so that says something 8). I seldom use the Wiichuk combo also.
After playing every Mario Kart, with a basic controller, switching to the Wii Wheel would only mess up my mental formula of playing MK. The wheel is fun, but I'd sooner win with ease, oppose to making myself swerve off Yoshi Falls due to a random muscle spazam.
