I was just wondering, what do you use for your Wiis, Wireless or Wired? And tell us if you're using the official Wii adaptors or not. Thanks.

Wireless.
It's much simpler to just buy a wireless router than to be running cables all over the place. It already looks like enough of a raccoon's nest behind my tv.Conjuration
Lol same here. A dvd player, PS2, Wii, and sterio chords are enough!
Hey just a noob question, is there a built in wifi in the wii and you could connect to the wireless router? or do you need that Nintendo wifi usb thing?

It has built in Wi-Fi. No USB adapter needed.
Mine is wireless. I did have problems before, but they're all sorted out now.
The USB adapter is for when you don't have a wireless router. You plug it into a PC that's connected to the internet by ethernet, then the Wii connects to the internet through the PC. It works great, but it's only really useful if you're network is already set up, and you don't want to shell out for a wireless router.Hey just a noob question, is there a built in wifi in the wii and you could connect to the wireless router? or do you need that Nintendo wifi usb thing?

[QUOTE="Cheezy-Beezy"]i got wired wow looks like ima loser:lol:aransomWhen everyone else has cancer from electromagnetic radiation, you will have it too, but not as bad.
According to some, we'll all be dead in 4 years anyway, so no worries.

I balance it all out by playing with the TV off and in absolute darkness, thus protecting myself from the much longer wavelength electromagnetic radiation hitting my eyes!
Hey guys, I'm trying to connect wirelessly but I get that error code. It's like, it detects the my wireless router and then I put in my WEP code, and after that I get the error code. Any tips will be much appreciated. Thanks.

For some reason my Wii and 360 doesn't connect to my wireless router. I believe the IP addy is 192.168.1.1 and I read the manual and it says it needs to be change to 192.168.2.1. So for now I guess I have to go wired till I get my wireless router firmware or the router itself updated.
Anybody else uses the IP 192.168.1.1 just fine?

That's the internal IP address for my router, and it works just fine with my Wii. Umm, but if you need to change your router's IP address, this can be done very quick and easily from within its settings (in any web browser, type in the existing IP address into the address bar).
