I was just wondering, what do you use for your Wiis, Wireless or Wired? And tell us if you're using the official Wii adaptors or not. Thanks.

Wireless.
It's much simpler to just buy a wireless router than to be running cables all over the place. It already looks like enough of a raccoon's nest behind my tv.

It has built in Wi-Fi. No USB adapter needed.

Mine is wireless. I did have problems before, but they're all sorted out now.

I use just the WiFi. It would be too impractical to connect it via eithernet (router and Wii are in completely seperate rooms).

Wireless. Compared to hooking up my Xbox and my actual modem/router, getting my Wii online was super easy. Basically just told it to search for my modem and put in it's password, since I had it protected. Believe the whole procedure took all of five minutes.

Everything in my house is hooked up to the net wirelessly, the only ethernet cable allowed in my house is the one connected between my modem and router.

The USB adapter is for when you don't have a wireless router. You plug it into a PC that's connected to the internet by ethernet, then the Wii connects to the internet through the PC. It works great, but it's only really useful if you're network is already set up, and you don't want to shell out for a wireless router.

According to some, we'll all be dead in 4 years anyway, so no worries.

It's all cool. I balance it all out by playing with the TV off and in absolute darkness, thus protecting myself from the much longer wavelength electromagnetic radiation hitting my eyes!

For some reason my Wii and 360 doesn't connect to my wireless router. I believe the IP addy is 192.168.1.1 and I read the manual and it says it needs to be change to 192.168.2.1. So for now I guess I have to go wired till I get my wireless router firmware or the router itself updated.

Anybody else uses the IP 192.168.1.1 just fine?

That's the internal IP address for my router, and it works just fine with my Wii. Umm, but if you need to change your router's IP address, this can be done very quick and easily from within its settings (in any web browser, type in the existing IP address into the address bar).
