I'm hoping for a Wind-Waker style game with an epic story, new weapons/tools and perhaps the new Wii Motion Plus for realistic gameplay.

this is all good, but i think there is a simple detail that will make the game THAT much better. Ready? Ok, here goes!!! ahem..No rupees or hearts from enemies. That will make the rupee treasures more rewarding, and the potion markets actually useful :DÂ
- 1st Person perspective
- All new repitior of weapons utilizing Wii Motion Plus. Boomberang use without pressing a button. Bow and Arrow using IR. Sword and shield only in 1st person. ROCKET LAUNCHERS!!!!
- More dongeons that don't feel like dongeons like the yetti house in TP.
- Completely new design, more adult but also artsy.
- Much more difficult game that really does kick your ass.
- Bring back the magic element and flesh it out using Wii-mote gestures. AND MAKE IT WORK.
- I want vaati to be the main villian.
- SMART AI that is not sequence based.
- Voice acting for everyone but Link.
- ONE HUGE FINAL BOSS THAT HAS 1 HIT KO ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

in fact, the zelda franchise needs more items in general.There is nothing I hate more than finding 500 rupees only for it to be WASTED because there is nothing to buy in the game!!!
my hope is that they dont completely redo the game's style and lose that unique zelda feel. Thats what happened with phantom hourglass (imo).
I want something along the lines of Majora's Mask again
I've got an Idea, Downloadable content, I'm sure they'll find a way to input DL Content into Zelda. Think about it, New weapons, missions, dongouns.
Not only that but I want to see a new art style in the game other than the Cell Shaded style and the OoT style, something new, something that will blow our minds away.
How about a future based zelda game? There is never the same link in the zelda games, there all years after or before eachother, but I think it would be pretty cool to see link in a future based world.
1. Reboot the franchise. Emphasize story, characters(major and minor) their motivations, etc.
2. Cel Shaded graphics with an OoT/MM/TP art sty-le.
3. More free roaming, explorable, open and organic world.(Organic in the sense that locations and dungeons are more seamlessly woven into the overworld and not stark departures from normal areas. A dungeon dungeon doesnt have to be this separate isolated entity with no purpose in the world but for Link to linearly travel through to a boss). I want to be in a believable world that feels like its lived in.
4. Fewer items that have wide degrees of use and combination that promote experimentation in combat, puzzles and in exploration of the world.
5. Evolved combat(not motion based). Only use motion based where its appropriate, ie aiming, and appropriate gestures for special moves like NMH does. Make sword play more dynamic and fluid allowing for better combos and fighting multiple enemies.
6. Better bosses/enemies, no more expose weak spot attack, rinse and repeat 3 times.
7. Rupees, give them a meaning again. Make them harder to find. Dont have arrows, bombs, etc be found in grass only in stores and limited crates/pots. Add more optional equipment(useful ones at that not magic armor crap), and weapons like biggorons and fairy swords.
8. Bring back masks and rich interaction with NPCs, expand the masks with things like costumes or something.
9. Bring back an instrument, doesnt have to be an Ocarina.
10. Bring the fight to the world, make the conflict feel real and present. Have the enemy retaliate and really seem like its ravaging the lands and destorying the peoples lives. I want more fights like TPs King Bulbin fight in the field and on the bridge.

1. Better graphics, yeah sure wii is no powerhouse, but push it to is limits. Better technical graphics means a better and more defined artistic direction. TP looked great for a last gen game, imagine how much better it could be.
2. Better world. The system of interconnected freeform chunks of land with very obvious boundaries is becoming old. This recycled OOT system see us exploring a dense forest through a freakin' tunnel. We need an open world and detailed world, no I don't mean a sparse sandbox like oblivion, I'm talking about a 3d equivalent of link's awakening that doesn't use a pack of trees or moutain like a fence. I remember watching the TP trailer and seeing link fighting in an open forest...what the hell happened to that? The good old square 15x15 (or whatever it was) grid world, rich in detail large in size, that's what zelda needs..
3. Get rid of the sword motion controls or at least make them decent. I'm not asking for a 1:1 sword movement, I just want the sword to go horizontal when I swing horizontal.
4. Left handed link; he's aways been a lefthanded person's idol now they rob him of his dignity. there was no point of changing him to right-handed in the first place it's not like anyone could get confused when all you have to do is shake the controller to make him slash in a random form.

I want it to be like most Zeldas but have a great and epic story like Zelda TP did. I want voice acting for all major dialogue. I want Link to be late teenager more than kid. I would like for it to be something incredibly new unlike Zelda TP which did a lot of what the previous 3 major Zelda games did. I also want it to have more cut scenes.

different swords or ability to upgrade a sword
and that's about it, i already know the story is gonna be really good.
