What ever happend to Resident Evil Code Veronica ???

I heard a while back that Capcom was saying there will be a Resident Evil Code Veronica remake or something ? What ever happened to that story ? It was one of my favorite games back when it came out for the Dreamcast.

Depending on when you heard this, the project in question might have been Darkside Chronicles, which is going to cover Resident Evil 2 and Code Veronica.

Capcom never announced a remake, they said something along the lines of "CV fans will be pleased and people ran with it and expected a remake. It turned out to be RE:Darkside Chronicles.

I'm not pleased at all. :(
