It's all a matter of preference. Final Fantasy defined RPGs, and has been the influence of so many other games. If you're not a huge fan of the genre, it's likely that Final Fantasy (or any RPG for that matter) would fail to impress you. Just like any other genre. I'll say it again; it's all a matter of preference. Anyway... Either Pokemon game should last you a long time. And if you don't mind the old-school feel, FF3 wouldn't be a bad choice either. In my opinion, MPH is only worth getting if you can play online, so if you don't have access to a wireless connection, don't even bother.
i dont know whats up with everyone liking the metroid multiplayer. its like impossible to get the points because of the Japanese people alt spamming with sylux and killing you in that damn triangle.
but anyway i think u should beat rocket slime so you can tell me if it was good or not!:)

I love RPG's but FF games are not than intresting. none have a good plot at all. not even the console versions.
