What kind of game do you actually like? And do you have friends nearby who own a DS as well?
Mario Party DS is just plain fun with friends, Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings is a nice RTS, Final Fantasy III for a good RPG Remake.
Phoenix Wrightseries fora brain cracking detective game, Advance Wars: Days of Ruin,Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy Tactics A2 coming up this year are great games as well.

lego star wars the complete saga is a really fun game. i put about 4 hours into it so far and im only about 10% done. it follows the movies exactly and the levels are very well crafted. they added a lot of extras to each level so you can keep going back to explore new areas and find new things. you can also play as anyone from the story after you face them. playing as darth maul is a favorite of mine. definitely get this game if you like star wars.
