besides nintendogs and cooking mama this is my 6th ds im going to buy (i sold my other 5 , long story ) so i want to make sure theres plenty of games she'll enjoy

lol, i know what games are good believe me i have my collection but there for my girl who had never played videogames :D
You should really know what games she will enjoy, I mean how old is she for a start? What is her affinity to gaming, how long has she been playing? How hardcore is she? What other games has she enjoyed? The fact that she is female alone isn't an awful lot to go on. If in doubt try something from touch generations.

Start with Tetris DS. I first learned the scematics of the original game boy from that game. to get her used to the touch screen, maybe Kirby: Canvas Curse is a good Idea. Dist Fin
