What games are you hoping get announced at E3 ( besides Zelda )?

Seriously, I'm sick to death of people talking about a new Zelda. For one, it probably won't happen ( I bet it will be announced in 2009 ). Two, because there are other franchises that haven't even appeared on the Wii yet! As much as some of you like to deny it, Twilight Princess counts as a Wii game. Star Fox, Kirby, F-Zero, Pikmin... the list goes on.

...and how about a DK platformer? Look, I love Zelda, but there's more to Nintendo than just that and Mario. Give the other franchises a chance.

Honestly, if you look at past Zelda reveals we're overdue for an announcement. My prediction is we'll see Zelda at E3. Back on topic though, I'd like to see the following announced:

Kid Icarus

Wiiware:

2D Metroid

2D Mario platformer

Anyways, I still have the same answer, that is,

any sort of new JRPG, yeah I know ToS2 is coming, but that's already out, and been announced :P.

We definately know we'll see animal crossing wii. But I still can't wait to see what it's gonna be like. Hopefully it's not mmo, cause I don't have online, I don't see how it can be an mmo with all the friend code stuff the wii's online goes through.

But we're deffinately going to see animal crossing.

On-topic though here's my list:

-Animal Crossing, rumours say an MMO but nothing is certain

I would personaly hate them if they anounced another Zelda its stupid and a waste. They have several other games that havent had a wii game yet. The same if they announced another Metroid game and i love metroids i just want them to get to there other things. I really want them to Break their backs making the perfect F-Zero GX 2 it could really bring nintendo's online to life with like 10 or more player in top speed online races.

Animal Crossing World Wide Web or some kind of cleaverly named mmo. Another good move to show off the nintendo can be a strong online player.

Star Fox 64 2. The Arwing, The Landmaster, and The Blue Marine all back in 4player online and offline co-op would be absolutely amazing

Earrthbound VC all of the Earthbounds on VC including a translated version of the unrelased one.

The Wiiware game that comes free preinstaled on the friggin HDDs the the wiii needs(just ran out of space a few days ago)

I would love a new DK platformer. Nothing innovative, like SMG, just a standard high quality platformer.

I don't really care, so long as we get a couple more serious third party endeavours.

WiiWare is not a viable platform for traditional games, its size limit is too small. LostWinds was good but it was only 3 hours long. Would you be happy with a 3 hour long 2D Metroid or Mario game when you know Nintendo is capable of bigger better things? A lot of people complained that Wario Land: Shake It! isn't a WiiWare title, but it will be a better game because it's not bound to the restrictions of WiiWare games. WiiWare is only good for certain types of games.

I don't even think an AC mmo is even really possible, let alone practical. Anyways, I don't really have any predictions, I'm just waiting to see what happens. X-Remnant

According to Nintendo, an AC mmo is exactly what theyre trying to make.... sort of. They said the online feature in AC wii, if any, will play like an mmo. They even made a new wi-fi service for it which is called "Pay to Play".

Im not sure what thier defenition of mmo means but Im pretty sure its way off.

Still, it's too soon to steal focus from Mario Kart. It's always possible, but it woud be unexpected.

It was never specified that pay to play would be for AC wii. Plus how would a mmo work. How many houses would you need for the game if you have over a million players, where would you put the house. The map would be to big, it wouldn't work well. Plus there online service they use friend codes so kids don't interact with other people. It won't work no mmo, I'm pretty sure nintendo as said it wouldn't be an mmo.

yeah its E3.net, and i found in that website that Animal Crossing and Kid Icarus are gonna be there, but are you sure about the others? Did I miss Pikimin or something because i didn't those other games there that you mentioned

Your right, there was never an "official" annoouncement that pay to play was for ACWii, but it was STRONGLY hinted. As far as how the whole MMO thing will work, your guess is as good as mine. I can only imagine nintendo butchers the online all together.
