Star Wars Rogue Squadron 4 would be perfect on the Wii. Factor 5 knew how to use the hardware and made probably the best looking game on the Gamecube. Lightsaber gameplay is what every Wii owner wants, and the Tie Fighter sections would work well too.

Panza Dragoon Orta was a great game on the Xbox that would fit the Wii perfectly.

Command & Conquer: Red Alert 5 should be developed for Wii. Batallion Wars 2 wasn't perfect but set a good template that could be made into a more serious RTS.

Hexen should make a revival on the Wii. Red Steel 2 looks good with Motion Sensing Plus but without blood it hasn't yet satisfied the violent urges ALL hardcore Wii owners have.

What else SHOULD developers be making for the Wii?

That's the problem with the Wii. Okami 2, okay granted it's a fantastic game. But it's still Cell shaded and therefore fits directly into the Wii stereotype. Donkey Kong Country 4..... No. The last good Donkey Kong game was on the SNES, it was good in 2D. Let it die.

And the last Punch-Ouch!! was on the NES, yet we have Punch-Out!! Wii. Thankfully Nintendo doesn't share your logic or we would have never seen Mario 64.. because the last Mario was 2D AMIRITE????

That's not what I said. Nintendo has made recent Mario games around a design ethos. It is their conceptual series. Donkey Kong Country was a series that worked perfectly in 2D, but without knowing what a 3D game would entail, why are you bothered about Nintendo bringing back the series?

Anything that starts and stops on the Wii

Not a game that starts on a last gen console and gets ported over to the Wii and certainly not a game that starts on other hardware this gen and gets downgraded to the Wii

Oh and not something that starts on a handheld and then moves to the Wii

Something that a developer starts on the Wii and when it's done it's only on the Wii

Besides that go nuts

I'm sorry, but I can't take you seriously. Because fans don't know what to expect from a new transition of the series = game shouldnt be made?

Seriously? Talk about closed minded..

i have been content with what has been on the wii thus far and am looking forward to plenty of games that are coming soon. i do agree with games being built from the ground up for the wii. no ports please. the wii still has at least a few more years in it's lifespan as well.

Wii stereotype? Problem with the Wii? Hmm...

The last good Donkey Kong game was Jungle Beat on the GameCube, made by the same people that made Super Mario Galaxy Wii. DKC4 could be an excellent rhythmic platformer, just like that. Or a 2D game on WiiWare.

Outside of Nintendo franchises, I feel like there needs to be:

RE4 style Resident Evil Game exploring the plot and more of Resident Evil Degeneration.

An Okami sequel that deals with different parts of Japanese mythology and legend.

A new Viewtiful Joe, because Viewtiful Joe is awesome, and the Wiimote could do some cool VFX moves.

A new Rogue Squadron game from Factor 5, because Wiimote as a joystick is an awesome thought noone has really attempted.

A Lucasarts action adventure that chronicles the new and old trilogy like Lego Star Wars, but seriously, and with WM+ supported lightsaber combat.

Kingdom Hearts. Just because.

Great games. No, really, really, great games. Games that have the effort and heart put into them as you would see on any other system. I also agree with Jaysonguy in saying that they should be Wii-only projects, and not something taken from another system or eventually going to another system, unless the game is developed specifically for that system, as well. Other than that, I don't really care. :P

High quality traditional 3D platform games! For example, where is Rayman 4, Ubi-Soft? :P

I'd also like some more racing games for Wii. What about Burnout? Sega Rally? Outrun? Etc... :)

Rogue Squadron 4, I can't agree more a new MGS (not a remake) that plays like an MGS (not something like acid) a Burnout (I can't believe it's still not here) A kickass RTS that utilizes Wii controls to maximum (in other words, something that can't be played on other system, especially PC) Sakura Taisen 6 (on Wii or on PS3, just use the CANVAS engine from VC) Valkyria Chronicles spin-off a good JRPG with beautiful cel-shades and lots and lots of tsundere a mahou shoujo SRPG but F-Zero WX is most needed

Sadly that's not something many developers have been able to figure out, though.

What I want to see:

-A new Starfox game with the same gameplay style as Starfox 64

-A new F-Zero with extra gameplay modes.

-A new Donkey Kong. We haven't seen one in awhile.

I would like to see a collection of all the games in the Earthbound series on the DS, but that is very unlikely.

Overall, I want to see Nintendo changing their style a little bit. They should make even more original games, and make a lot of them. They don't need to be all be parts of series, or remakes. I want to see brand new games, made by Nintendo, kind of like how they used to do it. I know they are expanding to more audiences, which is a good thing, but I am not asking them to make "mature" games. I want to see more Nintendo originals. I am not even saying they should stop authorizing the cartoon games. I want them to MAKE MORE originals.

Original and exclusive titles would be a start. After that basically a space flight shooter, a snowy TPS and a mech game wouild satisfy. Oh and Zack and Wiki 2.

Any new RTS and RPG stuff, or mostly anything out of the FPS genre. They're just not getting it right.

Err ahem, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Donkey_Kong_64 Look at that. A good Donkey Kong game. In 3-D.

Nintendo is doing that. They are making Dynamic Slash (created by Sandlot the team that makes Earth Defense Force series), Cosmic Walker (Action/Adventure in Space), Line Attack Heroes (Katamari like title created by Koichi Ishii), Monado: Beginning of the World (RPG by Monolith Soft and Nintendo), and Endless Ocean series. 4 of them are games for core gamers the last being a game for any body that wants to relax.

Maybe the title is a little misguiding, it should really read, "What games SHOULD developers be making for the Wii that I think are a good idea"

A hockey game generally based on the controls of PES 08/09, where you control the teamwork.

A decent WRPG.

I'd pretty much agree.

I would strongly advise AGAINST doing game remakes. You can rarely compete against people's nostalgia, and it's hard to make something new and innovative while keeping the many parts of old games that people love. Either you just mimic the old and provide nothing new, or you redo so much that people are upset you `ruined' the game/franchise.

Let the Xbox/PS3 have endless retreads over the same territory. I'm looking for NEW gaming experience, and endless reruns of old games is not that.

More "new play control" games for those of us that missed the originals and can't find them at a decent price.

Also, they should be making original games in the series that gave Nintendo their start on the NES and SNES days. We need a wider variety of games from the long-running series that've since moved to the Playstation and Xbox consoles.

We need the Wii to become a console version of the DS. Wouldn't that be awesome.
