Hello it's been a while and since now we have the Virtual Console Arcade I was thinking, what games do you want to see for the Virtual Console Arcade? Well I think I could name some I would like to see since I made this topic in the first place. Most of them are Sega Arcade Games, some might be something good like maybe some games from Atari or Midway Games.

1980's

Astroids (Atari)
BattleZone (Atari)
Centipede (Atari)
Dig Dug (Namco)
Dig Dug II (Namco)
Donkey Kong (Nintendo)
Donkey Kong Jr. (Nintendo)
Dynamite Dux (Sega)
Flicky (Sega)
Galaga (Namco)
Mario Bros. (Nintendo)
Ms. Pac-Man (Bandai Namco)
OutRun (Sega)
Turbo OutRun (Sega)
Pac-Man (Bandai Namco)
Pole Postition (Namco)
Pole Postition II (Namco)
Power Drift (Sega)
Rampage (Midway Games)
Shinobi (Sega)
Tempest (Atari)
Tower Of Dragula (Namco)

1990's

Arabian Fight (Sega)
Area 51 (Midway)
Cyber Troopers Virtua On (Sega)
Crazy Taxi (Sega)
Cruis'n USA (Nintendo/Midway)
Cruis'n World (Nintendo/Midway)
Cruis'n Exotica (Nintendo/Midway)
Daytona USA (Sega)
Daytona USA 2: Battle On The Edge (Sega)
Golden Axe: The Revenge Of Death Adder (Sega)
Indy 500 (Sega)
Manx TT Superbike (Sega)
Motor Raid (Sega)
OutRunners (Sega)
Rad Mobile (Sega)
Rad Rally (Sega)
Raidant Slivergun (Sega/Treasure)
Scud Race (Sega)
Sega Rally Championship (Sega)
Sega Rally Championship 2 (Sega)
SegaSonic The Hedgehog (Sega)
The House Of The Dead (Sega)
Virtua Cop (Sega)
Virtua Cop 2 (Sega)
Virtua Fighter (Sega)
Virtua Fighter 2 (Sega)
Virtua Fighter 3 (Sega)
Virtua Racing (Sega)

2000's

Azumanga Daioh Puzzle Bobble (Taito)
Crazy Taxi: High Roller (Sega)
Eighteen 18 Wheeler: American Pro Trucker (Sega)
F-Zero AX (Nintendo/Sega)
Ikurga (Sega/Treasure)
King Of Route 66 (Sega)
Mario Kart: Arcade GP (Nintendo/Namco)
Mario Kart: Arcade GP 2 (Nintendo/Namco)
OutRun 2 (Sega)
OutRun 2SP (Sega)
Power Stone (Capcom)
Power Stone 2 (Capcom)
Sega Race TV (Sega)
Virtua Cop 3 (Sega)
Virtua Fighter 4 (Sega)

Sorry for not that much fighter games because I'm not really into fighting games too much besides Virtua Fighter and Super Smash Bros. Brawl. But it would be nice to have some racing and maybe some Light-Gun Games. I hope they can simulate well on the Wii. Also my favorite Arcade Game right now is OutRun 2SP and I know there's the first game made around 1986. I want those games to come on Virtual Console someday. So anyways what would you like to see on Virtual Console Arcade?

first... PEOPLE, HE'S ASKING WHAT ARCADE TITLES YOU WANT ON THE VC, NOT JUST ANY TITLE THROWN.

now back to the topic... from all the beat'em ups available, the simpsons, TMNT and captain commando should top the list. there was one i never found the name, but it had some mages with wicked awesome spells (because just "wicked" or just "awesome" wasnt enough) and a ring-menu like in the mana series. and i'd LOVE to see lightgun on-rail games. i mean... the programing required to do it would be the same (in amount of work required) to make an N64 game work on the cIassic controller. although it'll be kinda hard to see, specially if you can release them as new games *stares at house of the dead 2 & 3* >_>

if by "mg" you mean metal gear, i think we could have them on the NES...

the one with the kid and the purple stick with magical powers? looked awesome, i played a bit, but for some reason i got stuck in the beginning (after running away from a castle or something like it, you ended up in a village and had to do something on a cave... something i never managed to do >_> dont blame me if it was obvious, i was a kid, and didnt read the texts, not to mention my english was really, reeeeaaaally poor by then).

Ah, I see. Forget what I said then, Ill agree with you on TMNT and the Simpsons-two of the best!

I remember playing a game at Showbiz (chuck e cheese of the midwest) called Peter Pack Rat a lot. Its probably a terrible game, but it would have alot of nostalgia value...

Those and the old Tie Fighter (was that what it was called) Star Wars game you got inside of and sat down. Those games were the entirety of my arcade gaming life at age 9.

NES metal gear is not the same as the MSX metal gears. Kojima wasnt invovled in them, maybe he was in the first one indirectly, but second one was not. im pretty sure second one has completely different storyline too.

No offense but certain 3D games listed there maybe impossible for the virtual console to emulate for one of two reason, first off power certainly for the more advanced ones emulating them would be near enough impossible, and secondly I am pretty sure there would not be enough space to store some of them on the Wii's internal memory some being hundreds of MBs in size even some of the one 2000+ being GBs in size so I can't see many games past the 90's arcade scene turning up on it.

The only thing is the power. The storage is now possible with the SDHC support.

No since the memory those games need to be played is still limited to the Wii's internal flash memory and is not streemed directly off of SD cards and I am pretty sure like ther Wii Ware games there is a size cap on games, so until a new update comes out that allows direct streaming off of SD card there is still a storage issue.

First of all, I did read the entire title but now I have a question for you since you seem to love to butt in where you don't belong. What's the difference? It's still asking what games do your want to see on the Virtual Console (Regardless of if it's on the Virtual Console Arcade or not). Basically by stating what you did, I can make entirely new threads asking people what games do they want to see in the Commodore 64 section of the Virtual Console, NES section of the Virtual Console, Genesis section of the Virtual Console, Super NES section of the Virtual Console and so on and it would be valid. It is all asking the same crap.Do you NOT have to go into the Virtual Console section of the Wii Shop channel in order to buy the Virtual Console Arcade or what-have you games? Exactly, so what is the point of seperating the threads? It's pointless no matter how you look at it. They are all asking what games people want to see come out for Nintendo's Virtual Console Store.

The same applies to you zenszulu. What is the difference? Why is it necessary to seperate the sections of the virtual console just to state the same point?

It's also poinless going on about it that much if you don't like the threads don't read them no one is forcing you, no need to over react.

If you had read the topic about VC Arcade games, something tells me you wouldn't have answered with a Super Nintendo game.

I'd like to see Earthbound, Super Smash Bros. 64 (Which is already out in Europe), and the early FF games.
