what happened to Kirby Wii

The only Kirby game i remember is for the gamecube and it was canceled.starwarrior2

It wasn't cancelled, it was supposed to be moved to Wii... but it will probably end up cancelled in the end. Poor Kirby, he gets no respect.

Hey, I really liked Canvas Curse! It may not have been a traditional Kirby game, but it was still fun and made actual use of the DS's capabilities.

I want a sandbox Kirby game. Not everything has to be a platformer when it comes to 3dsonic_rusher

Somewhat like Kirby Air Ride except bigger and not pointless? Yeah I'd go for that :). But still, Kirby's a platformer so it should essentially be a sandbox platformer. :shock: Woah, I don't even understand what I just said :P.

it can have platforming elements but it does not need to be a platformer.

Yeah. I really hope Kirby GC was moved to Wii though and is somewhere out there being made. It looks to run on the Smash Bros. Melee engine and it seems like a fun game. It's too bad that there's no word on it and it may not even come out. But still, the Wii's got years yet in its lifetime so Kirby will probably show up sooner or later.

Why did they ever take coop out the game, like when you could be gooey in Kirby: Dreamland 3? Why did they ever take out combining powers from kirby 64?Also, it would be nice if they brought back some the animals. HAL laboratory and Nintendojust have to team up and not let kirby games be taken into the hands of some 3rd party developers. If they brang back most of that stuff andadd some new features then I'll be ok with the kiby game. Unfortunatly, this is probably never going to happen. I just hope for the sake of the Kirby franchise that it won't be a platformer.

Wow, how did THAT project get canned?!? It looks perfect. I wouldn't care if it just got ported to the wii(holds up flame shield). I mean it, though. Nintendo should just take some time to pretty it up some more and release that. I don't want to risk them putting a bad Kirby out. Kojo222

Kirby Air Ride wasn't that bad of a game in my eyes. It was one of the few low-rated games around here that I actually enjoyed.

As for there being no recent 3-D platformers, I'm assuming that Nintendo wants to take it's franchises in new directions. We've already seen this with Donkey Kong: Jungle Beatand the GameCube Star Fox titles.

Canvas Curse is great! I have no idea why you would say they ruined Kirby with Canvas Curse. Have you even played the game?
