What happened to Wario Land: Shake it?

It is one of the best games on Wii and nobody mentions it, why?

Because we don't agree that it is one of the best. And according to metacritic, it isn't either. Number is on the left, score on the right. Notice that Wario Land is nowhere to be found.

The problem was it's length. It was a terribly short game with very little replay value unless unlocking everything is your kind of thing. It is a beautiul looking game though, but as we all know, graphics aren't everything.

Metacritic isn't the best source to cite from ( Link here ). Their system is pretty flawed, so to trust their ratings is to trust a politician. This is all my opinion and you can take from it what you will, but just because a game has a low score on Metacritic doesn't mean it's bad. I've played many good games that were rated poorly through Metacritic.

I guess it just faded into obscurity like most overlooked games do, i thought it was a good game, a little short and slow but it was still pretty fun.

I know you didn't state it got a low score, but you stated your opinion as fact, because your opinion happens to coincide with Metacritic, and I was pointing out that Metacritic isn't the best place to obtain a decent opinion, as there are so many factors surrounding their statements and scores.

Pretty game...not very fun though.

It's a great game but not even in my Top 20.

I thought it was great, it lasted me 13 hours to unlock all the levels and find all the treasures. 13 hours is pretty good for a platformer and for 20 bucks it was totally worth it.

Wario games aren't ever really that promoted or talked about, are they? The GC Wario was largely ignored as well. Maybe he's not a very popular character.so_hai

Yeah, but the GameCube Wario game is one of the worst platformers on the GameCube. Seriously, it is SO bad.

I never bought it because I personally think it's overpriced. Ten hours of gameplay for $50? No way, buddy.

If the price ever comes down, though, I'll be sure to pick it up.

I really didn't like this game at all.

It was a fun game, but nothing amazing. Although it did look great.
