The last gen consoles are stopped, and developers are moving to new consoles. As much as the wii about the gameplay, most developers will turn to the 360 or PS3 for graphics and completely abandoning the wii. What will Nintendo do then?

Um, no.

See, they want money. Not graphics. If all they wanted were graphics, they would have abondoned the wii long before it;s release. Heck, if all they wanted were graphcis, nintendo would have made it stronger. By the way, it takes a lot of money to produce high end graphcsi with a console that is not selling.

Now, see the ps3? *points at ps3*

Ya, it's kinda getting sold out by the freaking GBA in NPD sales.

Now, normaly, a company wants money. And that company will logicaly make games for system that is selling the most.

Right now, it's the wii and 360.

Hope that helps :)

Kind of like Square Enix throwing so much support on the DS rather than the PSP, especially with Dragon Quest IX. The PSP is more powerful and all that jazz, but the DS is what's popular, it sells. Devs and publishers go where the money is.

If all the game developers wanted was graphics, the Playstation2 would've been abandoned a long time ago in favour of the Xbox and Gamecube. The more popular systems get the games. I can't understand how the Wii could get left behind with the amount it's selling. Now if only the developers would start making good games for the wii...

The Wii is selling like hotcakes. There's no way devs will abandon it.

The devs were kind of on the fence when the wii came out, when they saw how well the wii was selling more and more are jumping on board, seeing how people like the new control scheme and seeing how games want not just graphics, but new ways of playing games, rather than just moving a joystick and pressing buttons, but acctually moving to influence a game.

All of the new effort will be put towards developing for the Wii.  It would be great.

Well, if the developers want great graphics for their games, they will definitely go for the 360/PS3.  The only downside is the cost for some developers, especially for the PS3.  This doesn't mean they're abadoning the Wii.  Many developers are making great games and I don't see that stopping anytime soon.
