Remember the cover of pikmin 2?
If you don't.........
Don't you think it would be cool if they made pikmin 3 with graphics that looked like clay? I sure do.

That would be awesome! I think it would perfectly suit the tone of the game. Also, I reckon stylized games on the Wii are the best way to make them look good. Since the Wii lacks the horsepower to have photorealistic forest floors, a still realisticish but clay styled Pikmin would be really cool.
Here's another picture by the way, a different version of the boxart.
Actually, some sort of claymation-style visuals could really do a lot for the series. If games like Windwaker and Viewtiful Joe have taught us anything, an ambitious art team can be what turns a solid game into an extraordinary one.
Whatever Nintendo does with the game though, they better give the Pikmin series one heck of an overhaul. If the company refuses to give the hardcore gamers news of any ambitious or surprising new products, they owe it to the players to at least make the few promising titles they do have incredible. Remember, if they can improve an already flawless formula like they did with Mario Galaxy, just imagine what the Big N can do with a series as new and unique as Pikmin.
I would love it but it does depend on a number of things. I not even sure if the 360 or PS3 could pull off that effect, but you never know since I've never seen it.Minishdriveby
Sega genisis pulled it off in a clay fighter game....that my have been entitled clay fighter i forget. sure it was sprite based game and they may have just photographed and now that i think about it is nothing like what a pikimin game would need to be fully made in a claymation style but wii have the technology and it would be very kool and unique if they did to bad knowing nintendo they wouldnt have even thought of it

Clay Fighter was 2D tho.
I just want Pikmin 3, but that would be an awesome effect if pulled off. At the very least I want them to use these clay scenes to promote the new game
