What is a good frame rate?

I just want to know what you guys think is a good frame rate.

It depends on the game, many 2d games can get away with really low framerates. 30 is normally the golden standard for most games with 60 being the standard for the odd few genres.

Ifa game looks good I believe it does and if it looks bad I guess it does. Frame rate discussion is for well, nothing.

Just as long as the game runs smoothly that's all that matters.

As long as it runs smoothly, but 30/s is a good number. I think tony hawk runs at 60fps.
