Larger TV's show the lower resolution capabilities of the Wii and highlight the lower textures, resulting in jagged edges etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong, and I may well be :P

The Wii can output 480p on any pro-scan television. Larger t.v.s do not lower it's resolution capabilities. It can output 480p to a large t.v. just like it can to a small t.v.

I didn't know either until I hooked up my Wii with Component cables. I find in most games "jaggies" are not really noticable except with Wii Sports or pretty much anything using Mii's. I find that instead of their bodies and heads looking smooth and egg-like, they look more like they are made of Lego pieces round the edges. Fast games like Excite Truck or highly detailed games like Metroid don't have noticable "jaggies" if you ask me. And the image is much much better through Component so I don't mind a little jagginess on a handful of titles.

Doesn't really matter about tv size. You get jaggies no matter the size. Look around the window in this picture. You see how the window edges aren't straight? Thats jaggies and last generation games that liked trying pushing a systems potential had much of them. If all wii games had anti-aliasing to rid of some jaggies, the wii's graphics would be completely fine for me. But not all do.

Whereas I'm more concerned with the big picture, and don't focus enough on little details for aliasing to be a problem. It's a matter of preference, and you'll have to decide for yourself.

Oh, but on certain games it can be. You saw the picture I put up? It was noticable in that. Now try putting a game like re4 on a hdtv, about 30 inches or more in size. With the amount of jaggies that game has, its very disturbing. Especially when you turn on the widescreen mode on the wii version. Now some games such as wind waker its not disturbing at all, since the jaggies aren't that noticeable.

And another thing. Jaggies may not bug you too much looking at a static picture, but once you got a moving picture going with jaggies moving all over the place, its annoying as crap sometimes. But to help out, try playing the wii and previous generation games only a sdtv or a edtv. That'll make jaggies less noticable for sure.

He's making it a joke. He's said about 4 times in this thread. Hopefully by now he isn't serious.

Jaggies are the result of the way lines are drawn in a pixellated image, slowly stepping up one pixel at a time. Increased resolution only improves jaggies slightly, however anti-aliasing (where the colors at an edge are blended to make the edge transition less sharp) imrpoves things a lot. Anti-aliasing takes a fair amount of processing or graphics power which is why it is more commonly seen in games on 360 or PS3.
