Speculate on what is next for Gameboy.

I would personally love to see some sort of classic model come out like a reproduction of the gameboy color with a few upgrades, but able to play games ranging from gameboy to 3ds.

I'd be totally on board with your idea. Go back to basics and ditch the second screen.

I think it may be a while before we see them go away from the 2nd screen, I wouldn't mind seeing a return to the gameboy name just because it would be so nostalgic :P

I agree with you somewhat I would love to see that second screen disappear for a while. Unfortunately with recent events Nintendo's next more will probably be a massive upgrade from there current 3DS model to reassert there technological footing in handheld gaming industry.

With that i am a life time Nintendo fan and supporter so what ever is next i will more than likely buy.

I don't think there's much reason to go away from the second screen, but gosh, wouldn't that be a headline-grabber if they brought back the Gameboy brand?

Yeah, bring back the gameboy!

They could call it the gameboy supreme, or ultra.

It would need two screens for DS and 3DS games, which would make a "classic look" pretty hard to pull off.

I dunno, the DS sold pretty well (along with 3DS). It's a wierd spot, it could lose them money or make a money printer, WE DONT KNOW.

The Gameboy line is dead and is never coming back.
