Darn it! I want to change my choice from Mario Kart DS to what this guy just said, which was Metroid. Nothing has yet to come out yet to even match this games' graphical prowess. I've often said to myself that this game looks like a high quality last generation PS One game.
Metroid Prime Hunters...KJAX90
For me, it's between:
Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow - had some of the best sprite animation I've ever seen.
Pokemon Diamond/Pearl - the 2.5D is truly amazing and exceptionally well done.
Metroid Prime Hunters - the 3D models were impressive, as were the completely 3D environments.
Nanostray - just a top-down shooter, but it had some of the best detail I've seen on the DS.
Final Fantasy 3 is pretty attractive. Especially the opening cinematics.chronoblazer
square enix(or however it's spelled) really needs to stop taking so much disk or cartridge space with these stupid high FMV movie sequences, and using the space to make the actual game look better. fire emblem for the GC did the same thing!!! I would much rather see a cutting-edge game with a crappy intro rather than a crappy game and awesome 1 minute intro! anyway, the opening cinimatics are pretty sweet.Â
Final Fantasy III, Tony Hawk's American Sk8tland, MPH for 3D graphics.
For 2D graphics, Yoshi's Island DS, Castlevania : Dawn Of Sorrow / Portrait Of Ruin.
For all time best graphics (including future releases as of today), Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles : Rings Of Fate, DQ9 and LoZ : PH would probably take up the first slots in a poll.
