My favorite is TP, followed closely by Majora's mask, then Windwaker in thirdgarrett_duffmanI haven't played MM but I think I should, people are saying it's a great game.
Wind Waker since it has nice graphics and and probably the best story in the series. OOT is revolutionary and awesome take that away and its just as good as Twilight Princess.
I think that the new Zelda games for the DS are not that great. They lost the magical Zelda feel that WW had. WW was not too much of a kiddie game despite it's appearance but I played Spirit Tracks and it was. It had the kiddie feel I was hoping it would not have. I haven't played Phantom Hourglass but knowing that it had the same engine as Spirit Tracks I can infer that it is just as bad.SuperSlimShadymy god, a person with some SENSE. I dislike the DS zeldas as well
Well OoT is one of my favourite games of all time. MM was wierd and different but that's up there too. Maybe I'm missing out on WW but toon link just grinds my gears. Maybe I'll give it a go if the new zelda takes too long to come out.

I dislike the DS zeldas as well Thank you, I never played Phantom Hourglass cause it looked like a cheezy spoof of WW, but I got Spirit cause im a huge Zelda fan and the train thing looked fun. Spirit tracks is very repetitive and I HATE the fact that you have to control the knight robot, it is very blah and very alien to Zelda, it is not fun and just annoying. I am halfway through the game and am not even THINKING about continuing. Controlling the train is kind of fun and the bosses are MAGICAL but everything is blah. The DS is blah, im trading mine in. DS = BAD, Zelda + DS = AHHHHHHH Very Very BAD.
WW is the best of the series and there is almost a 100% chance that it is not coming out this year. You have to play it or you are a disgrace to Zelda, play TP too, it is also fun, avoid the DS games though. They look like WW but they are not, they are bad. Im also currently playing through Oot and have beat WW and TP. I haven't played MM though. My favourite is TP. I'm currently in a playthrough of OoT and when I've beaten it I'll get MM on the VC and then hopefully manage to get my hands on WW

I have played all the zelda games except ocarina of time and adventure of link :o Everyone agrees Zelda 2 was the worst in the series so i didn't waste my time playing it. Ocarina of time has such a horrible beginning and an even worse camera angle -- i just don't feel like playing it every time i open it on my project64 (i never had a n64 :) and instead of it, a ps1). Anyway, my favourite is LoZ: A Link to the Past because it was just so epic. Twilight Princess and Wind Waker are fighting for second place right now :)
Nintendo however thinks that its best title is OoT followed closely by LttP and then TP, even though many sites have hailed TP as the best Zelda game ever.
2 things: Zelda 2 wasn't even made by Nintendo. Nintendo just watched over some other company that made it and the game was the only Zelda title that was epic failure. Second of all, im new to this site. How did you get to level 7 by only posting 13 comment? Zelda 2 was made by Nintendo, but not the same Zelda team that made Zelda 1 and A Link to the Past.Majora's Mask BY FAR. That's the darkest game in the series. It's cool, awesome, and extremely creative. You can turn into 3 different species, which makes for a LOT of variety. The music is definitely the best in the series, it sound absolutley amazing and they only recycled the best tracks from Ocarina of Time. And there's a huge amount of side quests and stuff to do after you beat the game. Wind Waker is my least favorite Zelda game. I just find it to be tedious and annoying a lot of the time, and the sailing is extremely boring. I don't think it's a terrible game, and I don't have a problem with people who love it, but if I had to pick my least favorite game from the series, that would be it.
I've never understood why people like Wind Waker. :/
Majoras Mask, Phantom Hourglass, and Spirit Tracks for me, all of them just blew me away by being so unique and fun.

Whoa whoa whoa. Zelda II was made by Nintendo. And it was not an epic failure. Its actually a pretty decent game, its just not very Zelda-like.
Your GS level will increase a little bit every time you sign on, I believe, so that if you've been here longer you're almost assuredly going to be of a higher level than someone else who just made an account. Forum postings give you the least amount of exp (what is this, an RPG?). Oh, and you track someone when you want to be friends with them (awwwww).
AAAAHHHH MAJORA'S MASK!
im playing that right now
i stole my N64 back from my cousins and im replaying it now trying 2 100% it
i really like WW but like the first level pisses me off when u have 2 sail ur boat all the way across the map for like 10 minutes
:P it waz annoying

All the traveling and doing menial tasks in TP bored me to tears my second time through. Sailing in Windwaker may have been boring at times, but at least you could use them for bathroom breaks if you didn't feel like using tornadoes to get around. Also, there was always another island in sight to distract you from where you were headed; the fun part was figuring out why the island was there. With LoZ for the NES, you had long treks between dungeons, but nobody could call them empty or boring. Maybe that's the problem; in TP there was so little sense of danger involved at any given time. Once you get 10 or more hearts you pretty much can't die unless you really, really, really want to.
Another problem I had with TP was the lack of characters there were to fill in those long rides from one end of Hyrule to the other. As large as the overworld map was, I was quite disappointed when I first saw that Kakariko village was deserted save a bombmaker and a shaman. I'd already expected inhabitants of Goron Mountain or Zora's Fountain to have more or less the same opinions on anything. But if you remember the number of people you could talk to(and help) in OoT, MM, or WW it's easy to feel that leaving the town deserted was a huge mistake. Most everyone you encounter in TP is someone you HAVE to interact with, rather than them giving you optional rewarding side-missions.
Now don't get me wrong, TP is a great game, and Midna remains my all-time favorite Zelda character. The variety of gameplay, great environments, and level design make it the aesthetically best Wii game IMO. But it's still a videogame, and videogames can be pretty boring if you feel there's little to no risk involved. It's a problem that OoT shared to a lesser degree, as it had the same number of hearts. Still, it was much easier to take damage (Environmental hazards in TP like steam geysers and long drops take away one heart, if that). Majora's Mask gave you plenty of hearts and that final boss was a bit of a joke. But the added factor of not having all day to beat a boss or fully explore a dungeon(your first time through, anyway) brought the pressure in a way few other games do. There's also so much to be done in a limited time that it's impossible to get bored.
Maybe if they'd done things like given us a limited time to get Midna to Princess Zelda, or introduced tougher, faster enemies like darknuts before the last level these problems would've been harder to notice. If they're not going to toughen up the bosses or lessen the number of hearts for this game, then the least they can do is send you back to Link's house or something when you die, rather than outside the temple you just died in. The easiest way to deal with the difficulty problem would be to finally give us difficulty settings.
Twilight Princess is the best Zelda game, although people will have their own fond memories of other games.
I'm not going to get any arguments with anyone about this, I'll say now that I'm agreeing to disagree that some people will not feel the same way I do. Or else I'll post 50 more times in this thread.

It is a game discussion forum.... I'm sure if you asked him nicely he could shake things up just for you and make a "What is the worst.." Thread. :P Besides, anything is better than wii2 conspiracies.
