I have been trying to DL Ivey the Kiwi since friday. It is a wopping 59 blocks, huge right? But no luck. My dsi would have been no problem but the 3ds, well... it sucks when it comes to these things. My opinion is it has to be a problem with Nintendo. My Nephew bought a 3ds and has been trying to update it all week with no luck. So the problem is not only with me. Nintendo needs to fix this ASAP. I have gotten so many error codes I can't keep up with them anymore. I don't want to disable my firewall everytime I go online. Where is Mario when you need him?

A similar problem happened to me, when I had 3 eShop Cards. I added my first one just fine, but I couldn't add the second and third ones, I got an error code from each of them, but it was most likely the Nintendo servers' fault. :( Anyways, as for your problem, I never experienced that before, I downloaded my games just fine. I dunno how to fix that, you might wanna look that up on Nintendo's Website.

Thanks to both of you for your replies. I only wish I did not have to disable the firewall, it's freaking ridiculous. What I don't get is, why does it work sometimes and other times it just sits there spinning it's wheels on a DL that I could have easily gotten on my old dsi. Don't get me wrong... I have been a fan of Nintendo since the NES day's and I probably will until my deathbed, but this is starting to get annoying. I do realize this is still very early in the console's lifespan and there are always bugs to be worked out. I just get a little impatient sometimes. But thanks.

It's just funny to me that I have so many issues with my 3DS when it comes to online activity. I can connect fine, I can play online matches. I get blue dot updates from time to time. But when it comes to system updates, it doesn't want to do it.

I'm worried that once I go back home out of state and get the update, then come back here where I live now, I will have problems downloading new games like the OP is. I mean seriously, what is the point in even having eShop if that's the case?

It's also funny because my 360 is wireless, and I can download all sorts of games on it without any hassle whatsoever.

Whoever heads up the Internet area of Nintendo could really take a cue from Microsoft.

Thats strange I've never had any problems with the internet on my 3DS aside from the small problems they had with the eShop launch. It downloads and plays everything without any problems.
