Again, No. The fastest bike in the game is the Spear. You don't need to take acceleration, balance or any of that other nonsense into consideration. The Spear is so fast it flat out dominates every round if you can drive half way decent.

That bikes handling and acceleration are both crap. so if you get hit by an item, bump into another player, bump into a part of the track it takes forever to get back to your full speed. and the handling is bad so you need to be very skilled to control it. Maybe for time trials it would be good, but not for online

It's so downright blazing fast that you'll be so far ahead of your opponents no one will be able to catch up. However, you do need to be skilled like you said. ;)

Which is really what it should come down to in the beginning anyway. I don't play online, but offline I like to use the Classic Dragster. It's slow, but it's good at basically everything else. I say that outweighs its lack of speed. Online, this might be different, I dunno. It works for me. Find a vehicle you like, and use it.

Agreed, I'm not using the "best vehicles" in the game, I like using Bowser Jr and the Zip Zip bike. Decent and I can hold my own weight pretty well online. Plus if there truly was the best vehicle, why isn't everyone using them?

Plus if there truly was the best vehicle, why isn't everyone using them? There are 2 best vehicles. The Spear and the Jetsetter. All the people with extremely high rankings use them. As for the others, it comes down to preference as others have stated.
