Animal Crossing: Wild World lasts forever, untill you get bored and want to burn it(Not recommended). Oh and a personal favorite of mine's Harvest Moon DS. Though it isn't THAT great it's still HM and I like the whole years of work to earn money, it keeps you busy for a while, a while indeed.
Advance Wars DS lasts a looooong time. graham_celtic
Yeah I know people who have claimed to have racked up 300+ hours playing this game so it gets my vote. Animal Crossing is also lengthy, but it's an open ended game which you'll find yourself playing for no more than 30 minutes daily. Could last you a good couple of years though.
Objection! Though FFIII Is a great game it is not that lengthy.

You must be new. Anyone who has even played Phoenix Wright uses this. Btw, FFIII lasts about 30 hours 1 playthrough with doing just few extras. It's really not that long, unless you want to get every last detail.
advance wars ds took me just over 175 hours to 100%. animal crossing will take you a long time to complete, ive more or less 100ed it and prob spent a bit more than 200 hours on it. i mean there are games with decent length single player and extensive multiplayer like mario kart ds and such...
