I don't have a "dream team", but my current Diamond team consists of these Pokemon:

Lucario
Luxray
Floatzel
Azelf
Honchkrow

Azelf is technically a legendary Pokemon I suppose, but she isn't one of the banned ones in Battle Tower. Replace her with Alakazam if need be. ;)

I have no idea how good this team is compared to the greatest possible team one can assemble, but quite frankly I don't really care. Assembling a Pokemon team purely to make it the most unstoppable killing machine possible strikes me as kind of like refusing to play any level but Final Destination in Super Smash Bros. I like being able to think my Pokemon look cool too. :P
