Super Mario Galaxy is my favourite game on the Wii (probably one of my favourite games of all time). Super Smash Bros. Brawl was a diasppointment -- it was too much like Melee. Twilight Princess was good, but too much like Ocarina of Time (which isn't necessarily a bad thing for everyone). Super Mario Galaxy feels like the most unique and fun game on the Wii.
Super Smash Brothers Brawl as of now. I am a bigger Mario Kart fan so we will see on Sunday if Mario Kart Wii will debunk Super Smash Brothers Brawl as my number one game.
Although I absolutely love Brawl and I did enjoy Twilight Princess (haven't gotten the chance to play MP3 yet...still working on completing 2), my nod has to go to Super Mario Galaxy. It is the one game that I have been able to share with my fiance that she has fallen in love with. We both enjoy the game tons, and love playing it together (the costar mode is amazing allowing me the experienced gamer to help out the fledgling gamer). I feel that the difficulty curve is just right, the objectives are actually fun to complete, and the environments are both diverse and stunning.
Perhaps the biggest thing I can say for this game is that, while we play, we both laugh, smile, and giggle like little children. I've played and enjoyed a TON of games (as my wallet can atest to), but few and far between are the ones that make me laugh out loud. I heart SMG

I agree with all but Mario Galaxy. Only because I haven't played that. I'd put Metroid Prime 3 in place of Mario Galaxy.
so far mine is gh3 since i havent got super mario galaxy but im thinking i should. SSSB hasnt come out yet in Oz :( but i am 100% certain it will be my new number one once i do get it
Nothing else this gen can really match everything it does

You must really like that game. Every post you always mention the game. I might have to rent it and see whats going on. Its a PS2 port, I just dont know how it could be that great. Will rent this weekend.
I know it's just a port from last gen, but RE4 has earned its place as my favorite Wii game to date. Yes, that's beating out MP3, LoZ:TP, Z&W, and even SSBB (Haven't played Galaxy yet, though).
I still tend to play Super Metroid more than all of those, though, so yeah... :P

I just cant say no to a zelda game so im going to go with TP. Dont get me wrong im not a zelda fanboy but i havent played Brawl yet or MP but galazy just doesnt excite me as much as the zelda games. But i sohuld also mention that RE4 is my second favourite game just behind TP
Super Mario Galaxy it is different to its predessors and with brilliant level design and power ups it is without doubt the best game on the console in my opinion.
