Thereare 4big games coming in April, May, and June. They are Excitebots, Punch Out!!, The Conduit, and Little Kings Story. Which one of these titles are you most excited to purchase and why?

I am definately all gunghoe on Punch Out!! Afterbecoming obssessed withthe Super NES version via the Virtual Console, I'vebeen scrounging for any bit of news on the Wii itteration. Punch Out!! is simple, but very challenging and when you go in to Time Attack mode you discover incredible amounts of depth for each opponent. Super Punch Out may only have 16 opponents, but it has kept me more busy than any other Super NES game I have played before it. This next installment cannot come soon enough.

On the Other hand, Conduit is my least hyped due to the generic gameplay and the genre. I have yet to really get in to an FPS.

Also being a huge fan of Pikmin, I cannot help but be excited for Little King's Story as well (not to mention the fantastic reviews it's been getting). I also loved the Excite Trucks so Excitebots will be another love of mine hopefully.

I think it says something when all those games actually look worthwhile and manage to appeal to a broad range of tastes.

That being said, I picked other, the Klonoa: Door to Phantomile remake is my most hyped/anticipated game of the year, let alone for May. I've been waiting for about 6 years to be able to play it, and I'm finally getting my chance via this remake.

Of the ones listed, its really hard to say, Punch-Out simply looks gorgeous with the detail of the characters and the animation, and I'm a big fan of the cIassic gameplay.

Little King's Story reminds me of a nice combination of what I like about Pikmin and MLaaK, and its got a laundry list of great dev names behind it.

I'm actually quite impressed by The Conduit (despite its bland textures and blinding box art), it looks extremely solid and the ability to completely customize your HUD sounds like an idea more Wii games could benefit from.

Excitebots looks even more crazy than ExciteTruck was (a very good thing), and looks like a blast to play, though I am bummed about no Custom Soundtracks.

The previews say you can switch between English and the signature Gibberish of the series. I'll stick with the Gibberish since its what I've been used to for the past several years.

The Conduit. It's just going to be challenging and fun. Second on my list would be Overlord: Dark Legend.

Little King's Story. Love the idea behind it, and how it combines a few already established ideas together to make something very unique. I'm looking forward to the others you listed as well, but not as much as LKS.

What are you talking about, The Conduit looks great. LKS looks ok. It has promise but I'm definitely not sold on it yet. Why does it deserve the attention of people who want an FPS? Why the bias against The Conduit? It's not like if The Conduit didn't exist all The Conduit fans would be hyping LKS instead. They are completely different genres.

Well technically it'd be LKS, but I don't know if I'll be able to get it or not. There are Wiiware games I'd get before anything in the poll, and I'm hoping they get released soon. >__>

I am really hyped for The Conduit, not so much for the game individually, but because they are including a lot of aspects to gameplay (lobby online, voicechat, etc) that should be standard in FPSs. Hopefully they set the bar and others come and improve on that base. Basically I want it to be the springboard to quality third party development:p

Currently 47% of the gamers that voted said they are hyping The Conduit.

I knew I wasn't the only one who thinks this will be the best Wii game this year.

That was one negative hands on out of how many overwhelimingly possitive previews? Not only that, but the one negative preview had so many contradictions it's worthless. The biggest complaint they had about the game was PS3 and 360 owners would have dificulty adjusting to the intuitive and superior Wii controls. How ridiculous is that? And even with their obvious effort to be negative about the game, they still claim it's going to be the best FPS on the Wii. LKS looks like a solid game. What I don't get is why are there so many LKS fans that go out of their way to hate on The Conduit? It makes no sense and shows a lack of maturity.

There should be more people like you. I'm definitely going to get The Conduit. I'm still on the fence on LKS, but I can see why so many people like it. It would be great if both games have phenominal sales.

I agree.

A unique game that fits perfectly with the theme of the Wii, and it's looked past due to games we've seen time and time again like the Conduit.

I'm not saying the Conduit is bad. It's just nothing new or special, like Little King's Story.

Beyond featuring previous characters, I wouldn't call it a remake. It may retain the same kind of gameplay, but new characters and a slew of new modes establish it as a true Punch Out 3 with a healthy dose of nostalgia/fanservice.

Wow, those lasts post really fired my hype even more, because i've been reading a lot about it is a Remake.

Still, i want more (just a little bit) LKS, but Punch Out, it seems like my second Wii buy after LKS.

I voted "other", since Klonoa is my most hyped soon-to-be-released game.

The Conduit is in second by a large margin.

I'll be getting three of the four games listed. In preference order: 1. The Conduit 2. Little King's Story 3. Punch-Out!! I'm not really interested in Excitebots.

Anyways, Excitebots for me, looks the most fun out of the 4 IMO. LKS gets second.
