what is your theory of legend of zelda timeline?

What order do you put the legend of Zelda games in, according to story?

I did watch the Gametrailers video and there theory on the Zelda timeline. I just thought it would be interesting to hear what other people think.

i dont really like how he every game is a different legend... except for ocarina of time and majora's mask, those are sequels. but the rest are like... every game link doesnt even know gannondorf even after he kills him in a game before that. :P

Well this is what I have deduced. It does not include the Zelda games in which Ganon is not the main enemy.

Well here it goes

It begins with Ocarina of Time and it finish with Wind Waker. And somewhere in between them is Twilight Princess.

Sorry not to say anymore but it's because I really don't know much about the histories in the older Zelda games :?

There's too many inconsistencies to make a timeline for Zelda.

i think it's a different link each time, and a fresh new adventure.

Then, link awakening happens, after that Oot and majoras mask. but before fourswords i think minish cap occurs, as for seasons and ages i have no clue. after that WW and PH. i have a hunch that TP is after WW though, just my theory, probably flawed beyond reason but w/e.

It's a splitted timeline, Nintendo confirmed it. Therefore TP can't be in the same timeline as WW. And back when Ocarina was released, Miyamoto said it was the first in timeline, though it seems the more recent Minish Cap is set before it.

It's a splitted timeline, Nintendo confirmed it. Therefore TP can't be in the same timeline as WW.

And TP is obviously set after OoT and MM, as [SPOILERS] it tells how Ganondorf was banned from Hyrule, as child OoT Link warned the King of Hyrule. Then it goes on telling how Ganondorf managed to escape the ban. Therefore TP Link is the grown up OoT/MM Link.

may theres just alot of places called hyrule and everyone names their children link and they all have similar features lolShinoGenjutsu
