what level for prinplup for platinum?

i have already got a prinplup,and im stuck at the eterna gym leader,and what lvl should i make my prinplup at?he is at level 26 right now

Don't use Prinplup for Gardenia; you're only wasting your time. Catch a Kricketot or a Stary and level them up instead. Their Bug and Flying type moves are super-effective towards Grass types.

The only way that you have this prinplup is if you traded it or you use no other pokemon. Could you tell me how you got that? :D My prinplup evolved today :) Anyway i can remember that you can get a ponyta in long grass outside mt cornet. And because it's right beside you and it's a fire type you should go get it. Secondly you can get a hoothoot there too. It's also best against grass types. Oh and this should be in the Pokemon forums.

I had the same problem, level it into the 30's and make sure it gets the move "peck". Also try in catch a flying Pokemon, I had a golbat....wouldn't suggest him for the gym. Just get yourself a starly and get it to the upper 20's.

Even if it had peck it wouldn't take to long for it to get thrown down. Even if it takes out the first two roserade will take care of it.
