what made you get wii

As the topic states, what made you get wii well my reasons weren't because im a Nintendo fan,it was becauseI tierd of the same old same from other system and for allot of other reason plus the wii's unique control scheme attracted me to it,these are my reason what where yours???????????????

The inovation, the virtual console, the price, and the games.

Revolution! Innovation! Wagle the wiimote! Virtual Console! inGameCube - got friends with the majority of the GC must play! Zelda! BWii - from the very first screenshot !! a new Mario! see nintendo gives the first steps on Online(not true, but this generation is where they finally are starting to do it, right or wrong..., WiiLightSaber - whenever it comes out! Fun! believe ir or not mini game frenzy! Party with friends! Put parents, uncles and every non gamer in front of a tvset and watch them have fun! Nintendo!! First console EVER purchased! Games and fun all in one package, like it should be!

Great System! Don't have any regret on leaping to the console world!

Mainly for the immense games that are comign tis way top 4 being.

1) Bwii :D

2) Brwal

3) Galaxy

4) Mario kart

i got mine on a promise of what kind of games i would see, and the gameplay they would come with.

sadly neighter of those have happened and dont look like they will either.

1- I really loved the controllers

2- Nintendo Fan

3- Some great title were already announced when I bought my wii

4- Cheap

i want one but i want it cause

1. Zelda...duh

2. Metroid

3. SSBB

4.It looks freakin awesome

Top 5 reasons:

1: Metroid prime 3 corruption ( i am a HUGE MEGA FAN OF METROID!)

2: Xbox broken its 4th time!

3: Cheap.

4: some classics r coming out , super smash , super mario ect

5: wireless internet , vc ,terrfic controls!

1. I wanted a new system, and it was the most affordable.
   
2. I was intrigued by the new controls.
   
3. I couldn't see myself passing on the amazing 1st party Nintendo titles for this gen. I got to have my Zelda, Metroid, and Mario games. Not to mention all the other great sequels and original titles we'll undobtably see.
   
4. Virtual Console. I'm a hardcore, old-school gamer.

Yeah, me too. And also for the motion capabilities and the virtual console.

because its says nintendo on the side

i always buy the nintendo system first

maybe cos the console was like small and fancy and xbox was like huge and overheating....
