[QUOTE="awptimistic"]hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha this is funny, the DS is surely not the best console ever and is not even the greatest handheld of all time either. The psp is. The psp will soon be able to run DS homebrew.Zenfoldor
I've seen this a lot lately. What happens is the PSP owners(both of them) get on these forums and overstate the quality of their console, to try to bring the general concensus to the point where the PSP is even considered a competitor to the DS.
They have been spewing it for so long, that actually, they start to forget the big picture. Let me enlighting you:
If the DS isn't the best handheld then comparitively, the PSP is the worst. The PSP is SO far behind the DS in terms of sales, quality games, user base, and durability, that even comparing the two systems is laughable to the knowledgable consumer. They are not even in the same ballpark. It's like comparing apples and a big pile of crap.
When people have PSPs in public, why don't they get embarassed like people do when their friends find out they own a PS3?
Your system is garbage, you wasted your money, you hate playing it, and probably listen to MP3s to justify its expense. The DS being the best system ever, or only a really good one, won't change that one bit. The only joy you can get out of the PSP is by finding ways to hotwire it, to be able to play old Nintendo games, which even you admit, are far better than any new games available on the PSP.
So get over to the PSP forums if your upset about your purchase and let them comfort you with tales of the fun they have had with the system. GTFO out of these forums, however.
Feeling the need to put someone elses purchase in a bad light, because you are insecure about your own is a sign of immaturity, as I'm sure your young, but if your not, it's a sign of a much deeper issue, and I don't think you can ever fix it my friend, so for your sake, I hope your just immature.
See ya around the forums.
Thats probably the funniest thing I have ever read in my entire life. You just contradicted yourself...Putting "Feeling the need to put someone else's purchase in bad light," that's what you just did! Anyone that has as much negativity about the PSP has never even touched one. I own both the PSP and DS Lite, and they are awesome system. I own 92 PSP games and 10 DS games. From my own personal likes, the PSP has a much better game library by far, but because of the millions of sales for kids for Christmas gifts or Birthday gifts, the DS will hold strong. I've gone into stores, and about 95% of the games on the DS are geared towards kids (ages 12yrs and younger), while the PSP games are geared towards the 17+ crowd. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't mean that kids games can't be fun for adults as well, and there is always Brain Age for the older crowd. Really, if it wasn't for Zelda: PH, FFIII, and Mario Kart, I would have wasted my money on the DS...heck, even with those three I wonder if I wasted my money. Even the GBA has a better game lineup than the DS, I even bought a Micro to play them because I'll probably be getting rid of my DS sooner than later.
I just hope you're older than than your level, because you were just as immature as the other poster.. I could care less how I came off on the other hand...I just love defending the system that I know is better, and in my case, its the PSP. And you're idea about how people enjoy their PSPs is way off...the PSP community is a LOT stronger than you think and there are millions of games enjoying playing some good mature level games on the go. I love Zelda and Mario in their own right, but Gabe Logan and Solid Snake will alway trump those two.
I've been a gamer since Atari, and have owned a NES, Genesis, PS1, N64, PS2, Game Boy Pocket, DS Lite, PSP, and Gameboy Micro, and the PSP is by far my favorite. Actually give it a chance and you may be surprised how good it is. I hate people who make comments without doing research or actually using a product.
