What Nintendo franchise needs a new installment most?

Well we already have Galaxy 2, the new mysterious Zelda title (probably of 2014), and of course the holy and righteous perfection of awesome kick assedness that is Metroid Other M.

So excluding the big three with their sequels already in the works, what other series' need a new "legitimate" installment?

My vote is probably to Stafox as I think a stunningly gorgeous Wii sequel would work insanely well with the Wii remote and Nunchuk. ANd of the course the online wold be killer beyond reason. Also big props to a new F-Zero as well.

NOTE: I also recognize the Pikmin 3 is also in the works therefore not eigible for a vote technically :)

I read this and I still vote Zelda.

Lol well of couse the new Zelda is still preferable to all of these titles. But we know they're making it. So ths is more of a mwishlist to titles we want to be made that for all we know they aren't. Hence Zelda doesn't count.

Where's Pilotwings, Donkey Kong, Wave Race, Yoshi's Island, 1080, Kirby, or Chibi Robo?

You should have at least made an "other" option for people to choose.

It's not like any of Nintendo's IPs are dying as we speak and could use something so soon in order to stay relevant. I've discovered that when most people say 'need' around these parts, they tend to mean "this is what I want." If that's the true topic of this thread, then maybe I can name a series or two that I would like to see. Otherwise, I think any direction Nintendo goes in would be ok.

Wave Race would hav been a good option. I do wish i had thought of that. Or a 1080 too. But I made the list out of titles that I enjoy for people who also enjoy them to select from. That's the bottom line. I thought about including an "other" option but I feel like that woul negate the point of the list. However I'm glad you brought up two suggestions I do enjoy.

Yeah after Star Fox I think all these need new games more than teh others on the list. Mario Kart needs years of rest and I haven't had the chance to play games from some of the series bob mentioned. Kid Ircaus is a very overated and I think should stay on nes with its cult status

I would prefer Zelda but as it has already gotten a game on the Wii I would say Starfox deserves it

Donkey Kong. It has been a decade since the last traditional DK platformer came out.

Definitely would love to see a new Star Fox, F-Zero, or even a new Donkey Kong game as someone mentioned earlier. Although out of the three, I would love to see a new F-Zero most.

As for everyone else who I actually care to address, I hope you noted that the points I brought up in the above post were very non-abrasive and not meant to alienate anyone like some painfully sensitive people in here seemed to have taken. I never refused to recognize people's love for DK, but stated it's never been for me. And well....I like Mario Kart. Someting tells me here at the NINTENDO FORUMS I'm not alone in that.So sew me?? Kirby and/or Donkey Kong. I'm talking about a platformer/adventure game, not some spinoff or music game.

I highly doubt a Pilotwings or Wave Race with elements of both being in Wii Sports Resort. Nintendo thinks that they've satisfied that desire already.

I don't understand why people beg for a new DK game all the time. When's the last time Nintendo (not Rare) made a good DK game? But for some reason people think they are suddenly going to start. Pfft!

Listen, from now on, anyone who asks for a new DK game is officially asking for another Bongo game. Good job TC for not making that an option in your poll.

Kirby, however, would be something that I would like to see, but my vote goes to Starfox and it has since the Wii was released.

From the list, I guess I would choose Star Fox..but only if they primarily focus on Arwing combat this time around.

Other than that, the rest of the items on the poll don't really matter to me. I actually want to see a new IP..perhaps an RPG with cel-shaded graphics? I don't like the artsty1e of Monado too much.

We need a new Kid I game. It would be so EPIC!!!

A new Paper Mario title would be cool, but hopefully it goes back to its roots.

Donkey Kong

Jungle Beat was a good installment for the GC and the bongo controls, but Donkey Kong deserves much more (New Play Control doesn't count).

Mario Kart and Mario RPG just had their turn. The latest Starfox games were all bad and there's going to be Sin & Punishment 2, so no need for that imo.

F-Zero ist the only thing I'm missing,

but since Nintendo even brought back Wario Land and PunchOut it's only a matter of time until that comes out too.

Marvelous Another Treasure Island (They only had one installment in the series and it was Japan Only it was Eiji Aonuma's first game. It was inspired by Link to the Past since that was Aonuma's favorite game and this was his first game with Nintendo.

Donkey Kong please! Any on your list would also be fine except Mario Kart, don't need another one of those right now...
