every year nintendo releases a few core IPs for Wii, a few new IPs and a few casual titles

2007: WarioWare, Super Paper Mario, Metroid Prime 3, Battalion Wars 2, Mario Strikers Charged, Super Mario Galaxy, Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Big Brain Academy, Pokemon Battle Revolution(with Excite Truck and Zelda releasing 2 months before 2007)

2008: Mario Kart, Smash Bros, Wario Land, Animal Crossing, Disaster (EU and JP), Wii Fit, Wii Music, Mario Baseball, Dr,Mario Online

now in 2009 we know we're getting sequels in Punch Out May 18th, Sin and Punishment 2, and Excitebots: Trick Racing, in addition to some titles like Cosmic Slash (publlished by Nintendo right?)

what core Nintendo IPs do you think we will be playing in 2009 by yeears end? I'd say the cancelled GCN Kirby game will see light on Wii, perhaps a Yoshi platformer, and maybe Pikmin 3 (and there are hints of a Super Mario Galaxy 2) of course hopefully nintendo brings disaster and fatal frame over to the US this year

i'd love to see info on Zelda or Star FOx for wii as well

what games do you think we'll see and what games DO YOU WANT to see?

Im not sure what we will see. But I know I want to see Zelda and Starfox the most. Galaxy 2 would be sweet as well.

You know, I can really picture Nintendo showing off like a kirby, mario or zelda at E3. The only problem is that if they show it at E3, chances are the earliest we're gonna be playing it is in November.

I was just thinking that us Wii players have been in a long drought. I mean AC was ok but it should of been so much more, and that was just about it. We haven't had anything to play besides MadWorld in months, and the earliest we are gonna see good games from Nintendo is christmas. Odd Marketing strategy Nintendo has, if only third party support would step up.
